Did you make it? Have you brought the device? Good...

That pencil shall serve you well.

Hello, everyone! This is SuperiorGhost, A.K.A. Ghost, and I am honored to present this month's Dystopian Contest! My contests will mostly consist of writing prompts (I like to see into people's minds and skills...call me a creep or a psychologist, pick your preference).

Theme: Dystopian Writing Prompt

Description: You will be given a prompt based on some facet of dystopia and your job is to quite simply, write! The prompt will be given near the end of this chapter.

Rules:

1) The entry must contain at least 1,000-1,500 words, a few less or a few more will not matter. I do not wish to restrain your creativity too much!

2) The entry may not contain anything overly mature by Wattpad's standards.
No entry will be accepted that includes:
+Romantic content that goes beyond the maturity line. Other than that romance is perfectly alright.
+Content including some form of attacking another person's religion, ethnicity, beliefs, or self.
+Extreme amounts of cursing or "icky" language. If you must use something of this sort please do so by putting a less obvious form on it such as: "Jimmy swore." or "Jimmy let out a stream of curses."

+Also, both of the judges have the full right to turn down an entry for reasons they specifically detail.

3) Please tag your entry with @Dystopian_Society, @SuperiorGhost, and @stringslady so that we and the judges can find your entry. If neither judge responds within a day of your publishing the entry, please pm the group account so we might be alerted to the issue (then we'll try to get to it).

4) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES CAN YOU HARASS ANOTHER PARTICIPANT FOR ANY REASON

5) Entries are due by the end of May 31 and results will be out as soon as we can get them out!

6) And most importantly, have fun!

Prizes:

First place will receive a shout-out on the message board and in the results chapter, a review on a chapter of your choosing from a book of your choosing done by me (Ghost), and I may just read and comment throughout your whole book! The final prize will be an advertisement space for a book of your choosing on the results page (please note that we will have to check the book in advance). The advertisement space might help you attract some reads, votes, and comments from us as well as any other visitors of this site!

Second place will receive a shout-out on both locations previously stated and an advertisement for a book of your choosing on the results page as well!

Third place will receive a shout-out on both locations previously stated.

Judging:
Judging will be based on certain factors.

1) The most important factor will be if you include the prompt below (just the part in quotation marks).

2) We will be most pleased if you include semi-good grammar, the better your actual story, the less we will judge the grammar.

3) It will be quite advantageous to you if your entry has deep, thought-provoking details. Whether it be through style, ideas, presentation, plot, or anything else your ultra-creative mind can come up with!

4) Chances of winning can decline if you choose to ignore a rule or cause some other form of disruption during the contest period.

5) Kudos to you if you have fun as well!

Prompt:
"Don't you dare turn that in! I can't lose another friend to the Error."

In which all members of society are expected to make no errors in any facet of life. The school is the most dangerous place for anyone as anything lower than a perfect grade will land you in service of the Error. And nobody knows what happens to those that are taken away by Error members.

(Be creative!)

Well, I do believe that's that! If you have any questions please comment your query. See you later!
