Tired people go to sleep
Exhausted you won't hear a peep
All of you shut out desperate cries
Fall asleep to the lullaby of liesLet your blind eyes close
Wrap yourself in dark clothes
Block out every source of light
Lose your heart in the secrets of nightIn dreams you are numb to all
You don't see how you could fall
To you none of this is real
Maybe that would change if you could feelDon't worry about emergency calls
Hide from everything behind your walls
Don't let them in, don't let them see
Why, in the prison of your mind, do you feel free?
