Chapter 6: Promise Rings

Okay so I'm really sorry because my brother through my iPod in some fish tank so I didn't get a new till a week later.

I will try to update really soon because I haven't updated in forever!!! so again I am really sorry!

Niall's POV:

Grace and Ann spent the night because it was really late.
It was 4:30am when an alarm went off

I jumped out of bed grabbed a plastic bat and ran downstairs.

No one. I checked the boys room then we went in graces and anns.

"Oh haha sorry we uh have practice at 5 am every Wednesdays...." Grace said with her tried voice

"You scared me to death" I said out of breath

"Clearly" Ann said and everyone was laughing

Then I realized instead of a plastic bat I had some hair spray.
No it wasn't mine,zayn left it in my room I guess.

"Shut up it was dark" I said defending myself

"Yeah okay whatever you say" Ann said still catching her breath from laughing.

"We gotta go to practice,we cant skip today sorry guys!" Grace said looking disappointed then to Harry.

Harry sighed then whispered something in her ear,hugged her, then went back to his room.

"It's fine text me later?" I said

"Yup" Ann said with a smile

"Bye,Have fun" I said with a big cheeky smile.

"You too" she said rolling her light blue eyes.

Ann's POV:

We ended up being a couple minutes late which we got yelled at for. we both have been doing gymnastics since we were in 2nd grade. Don't get me wrong we take practice seriously it's just sometimes we just wanna have fun you know..

After practice we went back to my flat. We went out to lunch and Alex came with us.

"Hey babe" he said smiley and gave me a quick kiss.

"Hi" I said

After lunch we wanted to go to a festival but on our way there Grace said

"Umm I'm actually busy how about you too go?" She said pretending to look 'sorry'

"Uh yeah sure" Alex said and shrugged

She checked her phone,smiled then left...

Grace's POV:

Me and Harry were going out to dinner. He wouldn't tell me where so I was excited because I love surprises!!

I was texting Harry then Alex and Ann wanted to go to a festival but I would of been late to dinner so I just decided to skip.

He picked me up around 8:30 ish and I had to close my eyes the last 5minutes of the drive.

We walked and walked then we walked up some stairs after all of the walking we were there.

On top of a building with a fabulous dinner and candles all set up.

I gasped, it was gorgeous....i was speechless.

"Harry" I said

"Shhh, lets have dinner" he said with a big smile

"Okay" I said returning the smile

We just talked about stuff and he told me about some tours he had been on they were all so cool!!!

Right before we left he gave me a little ring.

"Harry I'm 19 I'm not getting married" I said laughing

"I know silly, this is a promise ring" he said laughing with my joke

"Why a ring? and what promise?" I said making a funny face

"That we will be best friends till the end" he said smiling very big

"Best friends??" I said questioning

"Yes best friends" he said

"So you set up a romantic dinner to tell me you wanna be 'just friends' " I said about to burst into tears

"I thought you wanted this" he said looking to the ground awkwardly

"I thought I did, but I like you Harry just like the other billions of girls. And I didn't mean to flip out I should of known you didn't feel the same. I mean who would like me I'm the ugly duckling that never turned beautiful." I said holding back the tears and standing up

"Grace your not ugly." he argued

"We'll thanks for the ring it was a nice gift." I said taking the ring and running down the stairs. I was mainly just running because I was about to cry and no one has ever seen me cry executed ann and I didn't wanna change that.

"Grace wait" he yelled running after me

"What?" I said turning around tears just pouring out of me

"I I wanted to say I like you too, but I can't let you be put in the paparazzi." he said looking at my eyes

"So what you think I can't handle it?" I basically yelled

Before he could say another word I left. Not looking back.

I walked home carry my heels and walking on the dirty floor with my stockings. I called Ann told her the story then we decided to meet for ice cream.

After ice cream she spent the night to make sure I was okay. She is literally my best friend and I don't know what I would do without her.
