hansol can't sleep. he can hear seungkwan's breathing becoming slower as he falls into dream land, but he himself, can't sleep. but strangely enough, he wasn't annoyed that he wasn't able to sleep. in some way, seungkwan had managed to crawl in closer to hansol, his warm arms around seungkwan's chilly body and his head was placed on hansol's chest, both in which was raising up and down in sync with a slow rhythm.

hansol was trying to think of a time he'd ever felt more loved or happier, but nothing came to mind that could top this. just the way seungkwan's arms were gently wrapped around hansol's waist made him feel a sense of safety and warmth. it was wonderful just being surrounded by seungkwan's scent. he didn't really know how he ended up like this. with the boy of his dreams sleeping calmly in his arms.

"thank you, hyung." hansol whispers so quietly he almost can't hear it himself. seungkwan moves up a bit, closer to hansol. his nose now resting on hansol's neck and sending shivers down his spine.

seungkwan's breathing sounded like a beautiful melody close to his ear and the warm air blowing close to hansol's neck was in a calming rhythm. the slight ticklish sensation sent goosebumps down his arms and legs. it was peaceful. seungkwan's breathing could be described as a peaceful lullaby, a lullaby about warmth and happiness.

by the sound of seungkwan's rhythmic breathing and warm scent, hansol could feel his eyelids getting heavier and heavier as he's slowly drifting off he can feel a slight touch by his hand.

"no, thank you." seungkwan's whisper is the last thing hansol hear before his eyelids shut.

-

a bright light as soon as hansol open his eyes. warmth by his side. a familiar scent. what is this?

"ah you're awake now!" a cheery voice responds to hansol's eyelids opening and hansol turn his head slightly down and see a boy's gorgeous face looking back. the blonde hair pointing at all kinds of ways, slightly flushed cheeks.

it takes hansol a few seconds to process what just had happened. to remember what happened yesterday. he smiles.

"good morning, hyung." hyung. he tastes the word. it feels so right. seungkwan hyung.

"did you sleep well?" seungkwan mumbles and shuffle closer to hansol's chest, pressing his nose into hansol's shirt.

hansol hums as a response and feels unsure of what to do after that. should he lay still, sit up or wrap his arms tighter around the older boy?

"you remember what you promised yesterday, right, vernonie?" seungkwan looks up, sparkling eyes and smirk on his lips. hansol then feels himself panic because, no, he didn't remember what he'd promised yesterday. by the strange state his mind was in yesterday, he could've promised whatever.

"we were going to stay home, right?" seungkwan fills in when hansol doesn't answer. they laugh.

the way seungkwan called it home, not here or your place. no he said home. it felt so right coming from seungkwan's mouth, him talking about the two of them and home in the same sentence. it all fit so well. like a puzzle, the bits hansol had been missing before. why he felt so empty in his apartment, even if he would invite friends over, it never felt quite right. but that's because it was the wrong puzzle piece, seungkwan was the person he needed. the person who would warm his apartment just by opening the door. and yes, the puzzle felt complete, but there was one small piece missing. but what could be missing?

"hello? earth to hansol? did you die?" seungkwan giggles and pokes hansol's cheek. hansol snaps back to reality and can't help but to chuckle.

"yes yes," hansol nods. "i'm here."

"what were you thinking of?" seungkwan grins as if he already knows the answer to the question but just wanted it confirmed.

"n-nothing."

"tell me."

hansol's cheek flush as he begins to nervously laugh and turn his face out the window.

"it's noth–"

"was it me?"

they once again speak at the same time. by the look on hansol's face seungkwan knows he guessed it correctly. hansol had been thing about him? of course, it was kind of obvious since he had been staring at seungkwan with a slight smile without answering his question. this had already happened a few times yesterday. but those times he just decided to ignore it and just take his time to sneakily look at hansol's handsome facial features.

"that's sweet."

seungkwan smiles satisfied up at hansol, hansol smiles back and scrunch his nose with cringe.

"you're always making me blush you need to stop, this isn't healthy." hansol mutters.

"it's not my fault, i'm too handsome, right?" seungkwan winks.

"yeah..." hansol mutters ever so quietly under his breath, probably not meaning for seungkwan to hear but he can't help but smile.

did hansol have a crush on him? no that can't be it, he's not that lucky nor handsome to be someone's crush, right?

"let's eat breakfast!" hansol changes the subject and seungkwan grunts in dissatisfaction.

"it's cold though." seungkwan mumbles as he slowly tangle his and hansol's arms and legs apart and sit up, almost sitting on hansol's thighs.

that's because you gave all your warmth to me last night, hyung.
