The Songstress

The Songstress weaves patterns in the skin that can't be broken, Mortal instruments singing in the wind, and the sirens teeth pulling closer, ever farther from the truth and civilization falls apart.

The Songstress breathes deep as i did with you and erases the existence of my heart, because the way my hands touch your heart was like ice, because of my heart and the ice inside. You took away the sun in my eyes and replaced it with tears, and now my fears run wild in the tile of your floor.

The Songstress shivered like the night i held you, because even your warmth was cold towards me as the wind separates the trees. Your breath as it sits on my neck was like a fleck of sand flying through the wind.

The Songstress loves harder than i could, but she doesn't get hurt. Doesn't feel like her heart getting torn apart by a thousand hands, and at that point your beating heart couldn't save me and i fell, harder then you could see, and then my heart made a beeline for the end.
