The rain hit your flushed cheeks as you hurried down the dormant streets of London; the occasional pigeon swooping down to retreats good from the path ahead of you. You continued to walk while cursing yourself for not bringing an umbrella , that would have been handy right now. "Dame you (Y/N)" you kept repeating to yourself.
You just reached the edge of soho so that means that you where about a 10 minute walk away from your flat; not that far you had nearly finished your trek. As you skipped across the road your final destination in sight, a flash sports car came speeding round the corner taking you by surprise and initiating a heavy contrast in the grubby surrounding of soho...you had seconds to think but for some reason it was like your legs seized up and al you could do was prepare for the impact.
"Get out the way" the heavy monotone voice boomed while jumping to pushed you from the path of death. You had you back to the floor, the wet floor. Facing upwards eyes still closed with shock, you finally opening them to see a staring man above you, his curly locks bouncing as he tried to get up from your laying position below him. He reached out his large slender hands towards you, you took them straight away as he pulled you to your shaky feet.
"Thank you" you badly whispered still making eye contact with your feet out of nervousness.
"That's quite alright you seemed to have been in a bit of a pickle there... also I'm Sherlock. Sherlock Holmes " his lips curved up in to an awkward smile
"Thank you Sherlock, please let me buy you a drink" you smiled gaining your confidence back.
You both continued down the roads, trying to find shelter from England's harsh weather, it it all seemed much better now cause you were with this mr Sherlock Holmes. His name intrigued you and so did he. You looked over at him and he smiled back, you had a feeling this was going to lead to something.
