VI. confuse

After we laid him down on the bed as instructed, I watched the nurse attend to him quickly. For some reason, I wanted to stay and just take care of him.

"We have to go," V said beside me. I turned to him. He had a very concerned and sad look on his face. His eyes stayed on Hoseok's motionless body before he made eye contact with me.

I ignored the chill that was sent down my spine.

I nodded slowly, giving Hoseok one last glance before we headed back to the Chemistry lab.

Both of us walked alongside each other awkwardly. There was a distance between us, that was mostly created by me. I've never been one to hang out with popular ones anyway.

"It's is the second time today."

I snapped my head towards him. Confusion filled me. I cocked it sideways, frowning slightly.

"What do you mean by that?" I questioned, interest piqued.

V sighed, sadness evident in it. "This morning before class began, he fainted. He was tearing up, and he kept on saying, stop. As if someone was disturbing him inside his mind."

That struck a nerve in me. I've been like that too. When I was thirteen. Mum had explained to me what happened.

It seemed that Hoseok might have... a crystal migraine like me.

"A-and then?" I didn't realize I had stuttered. I didn't know why. Maybe I was afraid.

"He fell asleep in my arms. He had to skip one full Math class in order to rest. And I didn't expect it to happen again," V ran a hand through his hair, clearly distressed.

I was speechless. The migraines must have been really bad. I looked ahead, V's words ringing in my ears.

Mixed feelings swirled in my heart. What did this mean? For all I knew, I was the first one to ever have a crystal migraine. And now Hoseok has it.

I recalled the feeling as if I was being pushed towards him whenever he was in my sight. I pretty sure I felt something or someone doing it.

I couldn't get anymore confused.
