Hoseok
For the next few days, Jiyoo had been avoiding me. No matter where I went, she just looked down and walked the other way. Even when I tried to talk to her, she never responded and just ignored me. This tugged at my heart painfully and I gripped at it.
It hurt so much, even though she was just a friend like any others, or maybe V and Suga. But it was like as if a part of me was torn away. It felt a bit lonely without her- actually, a lot.
I looked out of the window and the moon was high up in the night sky, shining brightly. The park nearby looked deserted but a few people walked past. I decided it was a good time to head out for fresh air.
I took my wallet, house keys and phone with me, slipping on my shoes.
"Hoseok, where are you going?" A gentle but rough voice said behind me.
"Just for a walk."
There was still silence and she replied shakily.
"Not too late, dear."
I smiled sadly. "Yes mother."
Hoseok reached the entrance path. He ambled his way in like a snail. He stared blankly at nowhere, lost in his thoughts. His shoulders dropped upon feeling the cool breeze on his face.
He stopped at the railings of the river, gazing thoughtfully at the water reflecting the moon's shape. What could he do at the moment? Hoseok was absolutely lost. Firstly, he didn't know how to start finding his brothers. Secondly, he probably lost Jiyoo as a friend. Thirdly, his migraines were going crazy and was ticking him off.
Despite all these stress, he did feel something odd. Something chasing after him and blocking him from befriending Jiyoo. It wasn't Handong, but something else.
Dammit, I'm way too unsure about this, he gritted his teeth frustratingly.
Hoseok placed his elbows on the railings and pressed his hands to his head. He tried to calm down his wild mind, and tried to think slowly again.
His mind went back to Jiyoo's story from days ago.
"That's not the confusing part though. Weeks ago, I had my secondary sickness. The dreaming schizophrenia showed the same sister saying I shouldn't get very close to you," Jiyoo muttered softly, looking somewhere else in shame.
"So that's why... Handong didn't want you to get close to me..." I said lowly. I was curious why she didn't want to.
"Because you're that boy my sister in the migraine was talking about. You're the one who holds the key to finding them," she replied roughly yet staring at me hopefully. "..aren't you?"
Hoseok was extremely baffled. Why was he the key to finding Jiyoo's sisters and his own brothers?
"...unless I'm the one who connects the two sides." The thought implanted itself on his mind, Hoseok trying to shake it away but failed. He frowned. "But exactly how?"
Suddenly, a striking pain intruded his head. Upon feeling the needle-like ache, Hoseok stumbled back a few steps, hands immediately going for his head. His stomach felt light, and his heart picked up its pace.
