Moldova hadn't intended for anything to happen. When Hungary asked what was inside, Moldova thought it was a good chance to get inside. Romania didn't like him going inside and wandering by himself, but Moldova never wanted to touch anything. There was a sort of mystical feel in the room that he'd always loved; just wandering in the room, through the shelves was what Moldova always loved to do whenever he got the chance. As well as it being calming to him. He hadn't meant for anything to happen, but whatever enchantment Hungary and Prussia had used must have been important, because Romania ended up staying home to Moldova's relief. He didn't like being apart from his brother, and sometimes he thought Romania worried about him, but he wasn't sure about what things.
Moldova saw a flash a few shelves back, in the center of the room. He heard Romania shout, and Moldova ran to the center area as quickly as he could. Romania met him part way there and knelt down in front of him with a worried look.
"Did you touch anything? Read from any of the books?"
Moldova shook his head. "No. Never." He knew well enough not to do that. Romania had told him before not to. There were so many things in here that he wasn't sure even his older brother knew of them all. "What happened?"
Romania gave him a quick hug before standing. They walked back to the center area together where there were two other people with clothes dragging on the tile floor. "This is why you don't do spell casting when you haven't studied it," Romania told him.
Moldova looked up to his brother and was about to ask him what he meant when someone else spoke first.
"Hungary cast the spell."
Moldova looked back to the people and suddenly recognized them and his heart raced. "You cast a spell?" he asked wondrously.
"Well why didn't you stop me?" Hungary fired back at Prussia.
Romania walked forward to the table and looked down at the book and he sighed.
Moldova ran up to him and looked down to the book and glanced over the spell. "What's wrong?"
Romania looked down to him with a smile. "Nothing much. It's fine." He turned and looked back to Hungary and Prussia, both Moldova's physical age now. "Would it be okay if Prussia and Hungary borrow some of your clothes until I can find the spell to turn them back? I'm sure they'd appreciate it." Romania lead Prussia and Hungary out of the room with Moldova and closed the door behind them. "Moldova's in charge."
Moldova grinned as Prussia shouted in outrage, "What?" Hungary seemed to have the same feelings about the new rule as Prussia did.
"I have to make a phone call." Romania looked to Moldova with a small grin to equal his own. "Good luck," he said and walked down the hallway.
Moldova looked to the two nations with him and motioned for them to follow him. "Come on." He lead them back to his room and looked back once or twice to see the two of them trip over their clothing when they couldn't hold them all up. He went to his dresser and pulled out looked through some of his clothing and pulled out some for each of them. He didn't have any dresses for Hungary, but for a while he'd only seen Hungary wearing pants so he figured it wasn't a problem at all. He pointed Prussia to the bathroom that connected his room to Romania's and left the room for them to get dressed.
He leaned against the wall, swinging his foot along the carpet until Hungary walked out to join him. He stood up and smiled as Hungary thanked him. It wasn't long after until Prussia called out Hungary's name. Hungary and Moldova both went in to see what he needed and found Prussia with a piece of clothing in his hands.
Prussia looked to Hungary and held it out curiously. "What's this?"
Hungary didn't say anything and seemed kind of nervous.
Moldova thought the clothing looked like a woman's undergarment, but it seemed longer and different than usual ones that they advertised on television and other places.
Prussia must have seen Hungary's nervousness as Moldova did. He dropped the clothing back with the pile of hers and his and put on a smile, masking curiosity from before. "How about a snack?" he suggested, instantly changing the atmosphere.
They all agreed on a snack and they ran from Moldova's room, Moldova leading them through the hallway and down the stairs. They ran into the kitchen and Moldova leaned back a bit, letting his socks slide over the tile floor and stop just in front of the fridge as he lost momentum.
"There's cheese and juice, or fruit?" He turned back to see Prussia and Hungary already sitting at the counter, spinning in the chairs.
"Both!" Prussia agreed.
Moldova grabbed a block of cheese and three apples, pulling out a jug of juice as well and pushing the door closed with his elbow. He turned around and put everything on the counter. He ran across the kitchen and opened the cabinet and reached up on his toes and took down three cups for them. The cabinet closed with small bang and he put the cups down as well. He got a knife and took a seat at the counter and unwrapped the cheese. He carefully placed the knife on the cheese and pressed down, slicing through the food at its resistance.
He heard Romania's voice coming in from the other room. He looked up and saw his big brother walk in with his phone to his ear. He hung up and put his phone in his pocket as he approached. "Want some help?" Moldova nodded and let Romania help guide his hands and help give him a little more power to cut smooth slices. They cut twelve slices and wrapped up the rest of the cheese.
"Thank you, Romania."
He gave him a smile and put the knife in the sink before joining the three of them and taking a slice of cheese for himself and eating it. "I canceled my meeting," he said. "Bulgaria will be here tomorrow to help watch everyone."
Moldova ate a piece of cheese and looked to Romania. "I can take care of myself." Romania didn't have to get Bulgaria to come over to take care of him.
"I know you can," he replied with a smile. "It's the other two I worry about."
"Excuse you," Hungary interjected. "I can take care of myself."
"I've fought wars!" Prussia announced. "I can take care of being an adolescent again." He grinned. "Just means I don't have adult responsibilities."
Romania smirked. "And it also means you have a bed time and don't get dessert unless you eat your vegetables."
Prussia's eyes widened.
Hungary muttered, "Time for a revolt."
"To the armory!" Prussia jumped off the chair, the seat left spinning a bit. He looked as if he were about to run away before he turned around to Romania. "Do you guys have an armory?"
"No," Romania answered quickly. Moldova followed Romania's lead and didn't mention what was downstairs in the below ground level floor in the basement.
"Well, we don't need actual weapons." He ran off and Moldova was wondering if he should follow.
"Don't destroy my house!" Romania shouted. They only heard Prussia's laughter in response.
Hungary sat at the counter, looking as if she were trying to decide something.
"Jur pe Dumnezeu, Ungaria." I swear to god. "If you join Prussia and make a mess of this house-"
Hungary chose that moment to slip off her chair and run after Prussia. "Wait up!"
Romania let out a deep breath. "It's going to be a long day."
Moldova was sure it would be. At least Romania was staying home, though.
