So over school it don't make any sense.

"You look cute or whatever." Xavier said over our facetime call.
"Bitch, I'm sexy as fuck." I laughed, but quickly stopped when I realized who I was talking to. I forgot I was on the phone with him and not Alexis, my best friend.
"I think your phone messed up." He got closer to the camera. "What you say?"
"Nothing."
"Get popped in your mouth if you want to. I told you about cursing."
"Shut up, Xavier. I'm grown." I said as I applied eyeliner.
"You really called me to sit here and watch you do your make up." He complained.
"Yes, I missed your voice." I pouted.
"Me too. Your brother is crazy." He said.
I rolled my eyes, "I'm not talking to him. I haven't been for the past week."
"That's only going to make it worse."
I shrugged my shoulders and he mumbled something under his breath to where I couldn't hear.
"What did you say?" I grabbed my phone off of the sink and went to my closet.
"I said you're stubborn."
How am I stubborn when Gio is the one not letting me see him?
"Whatever, Xavier."
"You got an attitude?" I heard him ask as I looked through my clothes to find something to wear. I ignored him. "Okay."
The line went dead and I huffed.
"I know he didn't hang up on me." I said to myself.
Not bothering to call him back, I got dressed and examined myself in the mirror before skipping down the stairs. Jasmine and Gio sat in the living room watching a movie as he rubbed her feet.
"Where you going dressed like that?" Gio asked. I continued to walk towards the door.
"Nothing is wrong with what she has on. Where are you going?" Jasmine asked this time.
I turned to her, "To Alexis' house."
Gio sucked his teeth and turned his attention back to the movie.
"Okay, be back by eleven."
"Gotcha." I gave her a thumb up.
I went down our driveway and began walking down the sidewalk to the next street. Alexis house isn't far from where we live so they wouldn't expect me to drive.
Looking at my phone, I seen not one message from Xavier making me huff.
"I hate him so much."
His car pulled up next to me and he let the window down.
