The Consequences of Having a Mate

Chapter 3

When Mrs. Cooper class ended, I ran out of the room fast because I knew that Brittany was going to beat me up badly. Me being me, I went to my locker, but that was a bad idea. When I got there, I was push into my locker when it was still close. It hurt so much. Dang I didn't think that would hurt. I fell to the floor and the next thing I knew was that I was kicked across the hallway into another set of lockers. When I finally got up from the floor and look up, Brittany was pissed off and coming towards me. Before I could run away, she grab my shirt and punch me right in the face. That bitch! Oh, great now I have a black eye isn't that wonderful (sarcasm). Even though vampires heal fast, but I don't and that sucks. Brittany must have been really piss because I am starting to see stars. Finally, she dropped me on the ground.

"I never did like you, so why try to steal something I want. I think you would back off of what is mine. Understand?" Brittany said.

I nodded my head.

"Good, now Ally go do something to yourself." The witch said.

I ran as fast as I can away from that thing. I ran to Mrs. Copper's class and walk in.

"Mrs. Cooper, can you help m-me clean up, please?" I asked her.

She turn around and saw me.

"Ally, what happened to you?" Mrs. Cooper ask.

"Brittany." Was all I said.

"Oh my gosh, what is wrong with her?" Mrs. Cooper ask as she walk me to her desk.

  "Uhm, Mrs. Cooper, what if I said that I found my mate?"

  "Oh my gosh, you did? Who is it? Is it the captain of the football team?"

"No, it's Travis."

  "You mean the new boy is your mate."

    "Yes, he is."

      "Isn't he human?"

      "Yes, my dad thinks it's strange that I have a mate because I'm half human and half vampire."

    "Well I'm done. Are you going to telling your parents what it's going on between you and Brittany?"

    "No, and I would like to keep it that way. Even thought, my mom is human doesn't mean she can't kick vampires' butt."

   "Okay, Ally, I see you tomorrow."

    "Ok, bye." I said as I left the classroom.

  I walk out of the classroom and ran right into Travis. When you speak of the devil, he shall come. I just love my luck (sarcasm).

"Oh my gosh, Ally, what happen to you?" Travis ask.

  "Nothing, okay, tomorrow sit next to Brittany, okay." I said. I think my heart just broke a few pieces.

  "Why? I like sitting next to you."

  "Because if you don't bad things would happen to me. Please, just sit next to Brittany, okay."

I ran away from Travis and I wanted to go back too him, but I can't. I ran away from the school and ran home.

    I ran into my house and upstairs to my room. I landed on my bed and cried. My bedroom door opens a few minutes later and my mom walked in.

   " Ally, what's wrong? Who made my baby cry?"  My mom ask.

"I just let him go, mom. I let him go." I said.

  " You let you go, Ally? What are you talking about?"

" I let Travis go, mom. I let him go."

  " Okay Ally,  you're going to have to explain it to me."

  " Okay, well I found out my mate's name is Travis, Travis Andrews. Well, I have in all my classes. Brittany wants Travis but I didn't say that he was my mate."

   " Isn't Brittany the one who bully you, Ally?"

I look at her.

  " How do you know that she bully me, mom?"

  " Ally, you are my daughter. I know when you are in pain or hurt and trust me, I feel every punch you get from her. Now is your turn it in to stand up, Ally."

" Okay, mom, I will try"

" ok now for dinner, do you want blood of real food?"

" Real food, please."

" okay I get start on the food and you do your home work."

" Okay, I love you, mom."

" I love you, too"

That night I finally decided to take my mom's advice and stand up for myself.
