Chapter 3 - Glide Through The Trees

It was the next day, everyone was having breakfast and sat impatiently as they waited for (Y/N) come through the door. soon the doors swung open and showed Erwin leading (Y/N) through the door.

her bright red hair sat gently on her shoulders and she walked into the room "Everyone! treat her with respect" he called as he left. everyone was silent, no one was saying anything "So what's for breakfast?" she asked as she walked over to a table.

she bent over and saw the grey mush they were eating, a disgusted look washed over her face as she gasped "You poor things" she sighed. she held out the metal plate on her arm and pointed it at the table before pressing a bottom.

On the table appeared meat and fresh salads, everyone gasped as she grabbed a plate, Sasha raced to the table as she drooled over the food. her hands were clamped together as her eyes sparkled "Can I have some?" she asked excitedly "Sure dig in!" she exclaimed.

everyone rushed over and grabbed their own food. she sat next to Sasha and laughed as she ate into the huge chicken leg. "I'm guessing they haven't been feeding you guess with the best food huh?" she sighed.

she started to eat like Sasha, ripping the meat from the bones of the leg like animals. they looked at each other and smiled, pieces of chicken stuck in their teeth as they went back to eating.

once she finished eating everyone swarmed her with questions. "Whats it like on the outside?" one asked, "Is it true you come from beyond the walls?" "how did you kill those titans?" "Whats the titans like where you come from?".

she laughed as she shushed them. "Yes I come from beyond the walls," she said, "Whats it like?" Armin asked as Eren tuned in. "Where I come from there are rainforests, tall wet trees reaching over the skies, there are deserts which are like plains of sand and dry dirt but the most amazing part is our beaches and ocean" she sighed.

"Whats an ocean?" Jean asked She let out a sharp gasp. she jumped up on the table and opened her arms "the ocean in a big body of water! Bigger than any lake! Our world is made of lot of it! it is bigger than this howl place! much bigger! it is filled with salt! lots of salt!" she exclaimed, "Impossible! If it had that much salt then people would have harvested it" someone called "That's how much there is in it!" she exclaimed.

"Our beaches are lined with sand and trees while the ocean washes up on the shore, animals live in the ocean too! like fish!" she exclaimed.

"I crossed the ocean just to get here! It took months but we made it!" she exclaimed. "So why did you come here?" Annie asked, she looked at her and smiled sweetly. she jumped back down and sat on the table while she looked at Annie.

"Well, I grew up in the city, skyscrapers higher than the sky! though our titans are strong and attack us every day we manage to keep our home safe" she explained, "My mother and father grew up at the army corp, they died by titans so one day I decided to sneak into the army housing area" she smirked.

"Soon I found the manoeuvre gear so I tried it out, but sirens went off signalling that the daily colossal titans were attacking, I tried to blend in and hide from them. soon they became cornered by about 10 titans and I decided to help, that was my first time using manoeuvre gear and I killed them all," she said with a smirk on her lips, they were all astonished by her manual power.

"What about your hair?" asked Mikasa, she turned to her "Huh?" she questioned tilting her head sideways showing her confusion. "I mean why is it that colour?" she explained, "I'm the protagonist of the fanfic," she said simply "What?" everyone questioned, "I mean it was born with this colour" she chuckled.

~Later~

Levi paced past each person, glaring at them with his stiff, cold gaze. Everyone lined up as they waited for the order to go. Everyone was instructed to train in the forest next to the lake.

They were also going on an excursion just to see (Y/N)'s fiscal power. Levi didn't believe that someone was able to have that much power. "You may go!" He called, Sasha and (Y/n) looked at each other and smiled as they slung out into the forest. while everyone had a serious face on and were concentrating on grappling so they don't hurt themselves (Y/N) was not.

As she grappled onto a tree and flipped through the air. she swung down and almost used it as a vine to swing on. she slung up into the air and let go of the tree which sent her flying into the air. she flipped like a ball through the air.

she came in contact with the tree but she perfectly stood on the tree like she was defying gravity. everyone was amazed. "Just over here!" Levi called everyone grappled down and watched (Y/N).

she did one last flip before using the wire as a vine and swung down. she skidded her feet down on the ground and let go of the tree making her run. she did a tuck tumble and sat up perfectly with her hands in the air "And she sticks the landing!" she exclaimed with a smile.

she was standing next to Levi not facing the others as she said this. "that was amazing!" some people exclaimed "What do you mean?" she questioned, "You flipped through the air like you were having fun! Don't you have to concentrate on balance?" Eren questioned. "I am having fun with it! That's how I'm so good at it because I don't worry about failing" she smiled.

though her words were confusing they understood. she was a strange one but talented none the less. "Now everyone" Levi spoke, everyone tuned in. "Apparently 5 titans have been spotted in this forest.but we can not interfere" he smirked.

everyone looked at him confused "Why?" Eren questioned. "Becuase (Y/N) will be," he said looking to her. "If you say your power is what it is then this will be easy for you," he said.

she flashed him a kind and happy smile agreeing to do what he said.
