The Russian alphabet, a derivative of the Cyrillic alphabet, is the letter based system of writing they use in, you guessed it, Russia.
The alphabet itself is basically entirely stolen from Greek, just with a couple more nasals thrown in.
Today, nations that had once been part of Russia long ago during the tsarship use close versions of the alphabet, usually with minor differences.
