"He's trying to take you away.." Hansol said, eyes wide as he paced back and fourth,"Jae dont let him!"

"Who?" I mumbled softly, grabbing my captor's arm before pulling him close to me.

Hansol stayed silent and just stroked my hair possessively,"D-daeil." He stuttered out,"He's trying to steal you from me!"

I playfully slapped his  arm before rolling my eyes,"He couldn't take me if he tried."

My gaze fell as I thought about the words that had left my mouth. Was I really infatuated with my captor to the point where I was unwilling to settle for anyone else?

His arms hugged my waist tightly, pulling me back against him lovingly as he  nuzzled his face into the crook of his neck,"Promise?" he mumbled.

I swallowed hard, ginger with my reply,"Pro-mise."

The words felt like sandpaper in my mouth. I knew agreeing was the wrong thing to do but if I said anything else I would have been lying.

At first I wanted nothing to do with Hansol and only wanted Daeil, then it was all of a sudden the other way around?

Before I knew it a knock came from the door followed by a few hushed voices ... another knock and silence.

Hansol and I gazed at each other in wonder. It certainly was a strange time to have unannounced visitors at his apartment.

Both of us walked to the door, hearing impatient shuffling outside. After what felt like ages, Hansol reached his hand out and opened the door slowly as I stood behind him, arms around his waist tightly.

4 officers in uniform stood at the door, Daeil looking on with a soft look of despair.

"Kim Hansol?" The officer at front asked, displaying his badge,"Im gonna need to see your ID."

I looked up at his scared eyes for a moment,"what did you do?" I asked as he dug into his pockets.

Hansol ignored my question and dug into his wallet before taking the piece of plastic out abd passing it forwards,"I have a right to know what I did!"

"You've been suspected of holding a young woman hostage for quite a while, sir." The officer to his left informed him.

My blood ran cold as I stared at the floor, my arms tightening around him.

"Where were you 4 Mondays ago?" Asked the first officer.

He shrugged,"At her house..." he replied, gesturing to me.

"Choi Jae hee?" He questioned.

"Jae." I said flatly with a rude tone,"Nobody calls me Jae hee."

After a few more questions, Hansol was told he could contact someone of his choosing to tell them what was going on. I paced back and forth through the coat room nervously, looking towards the policemen often to see them just staring at me.

It seemed to me as though he called Byungjoo and told him to inform his mother and everyone else of the situation.

I nervously quivered as his phone sank back into his pocket and he stepped forwards, two of the officers grabbing ahold of him to lead him to their squad car after being read his rights.

My mouth was dry and I couldn't move my lips even if I had something to say. I just sat emotionlessly still, seeing flashing lights outside the window. Moments later a young woman came up the stairs with a blanket, gently placing it over my shoulders.

I was too stirred up to register what she was saying to me. All I remembered was glaring at Daeil as he walked beside us. That's when I snapped.

"You fucking jerk!" I yelled in his direction, jolting towards him slightly.

Quickly, the medic pulled me back towards her and tried to calm me as I kicked and pushed. Finally, I gave up and just sat on the sidewalk downstairs, sniffling and crying. My eyes stung and I refused to cooperate for the medics, my arms folded over my chest.

After about an hour and a half of just sitting on the side of the road they had finished questioning Hansol and patting him down for weapons. I took this as my chance and got up though I was being restrained and dashing towards him, hugging him hard, my face buried in his chest.

Everything was a blur and I could hear people faintly in the background coming towards me but I just latched on harder, my chin eventually being pulled up by his soft thumb and forefinger before kissing me gently.

This was the last thing I remembered before my vision turned to black.

When I woke up I moved my hand to shield my eyes, pressing my palm against my aching head as I blinked.

The bright, white, lights buzzed in my ears, all of my senses seemed to be working to the best of their ability. I could smell the sterile condition of the room I was in, see the smallest dust particles as I stared at the white ceiling, feel every muscle in my body tighten as if bruised, I could hear the conversation outside of my room followed by the door creaking open.

Slowly, I sat up and saw a woman in a pencil skirt and heels that clicked against the floor obnoxiously. Her nails were painted bright red and her hair was pinned into a neat bun. She sat in the arm chair beside me with a clip board and greeted me with a gentle smile, her voice quiet and soothing.

"Jae... How are you feeling?" She asked softly.

I didn't reply, leaving an awkward silence. I just stared at the opposite wall, my eyes left open and wide.

"Well... Im Ms. Young." She cleared her throat,"Do you know why you're here, Jae?"

I shook my head,"You think I'm fucked in the head."

"Well now, I wouldn't say that." Her forehead creased,"We just want to make sure you're okay."

There was more silence in the room before her voice changed slightly,"If you could make a change to your life- any at all... What would it be?"

"Hm. Now we're asking the real questions." I scoffed sarcastically,"I wouldn't have let them take Hansol from me! Is that what you want to hear?"

Ms. Young began writing and didn't answer my question,"How would you describe your mood toward... Hansol?"

Immidietly I started thinking hard. I was cery quiet at first and then nonchalantly shrugged,"Im in love with him... hopeless devotion... He loves me too."

"What would make you happy right now?" I was asked,"It could be anything as small as a cup of coffee to as lar-"

I cut her off,"Hansol. I want to see Hansol."
