Chapter 22: Friendzoned

Bree's POV

I woke up a while ago and did everything I had to do before the meet and greet. So now I'm just waiting on Joey, he's in the shower.

I was on snap chat just answering some fans snaps and adding some others back, when I got a snap from someone I haven't heard from in ages.

My Ex, Anthony.

'But wasn't/ isn't he still dating Destiny?? Idk and idc..... oooo I'm gonna leave him on read or it depends what he wants.'

I opened his chat and all the memories came flooding back, mainly my birthday

Flashback

We get to school and start to walk to our lockers, once we put our bags away and got our stuff ready for the first class we all met back up but this time with the whole crew.

All of a sudden I feel someone put their arms around my waist and then lean their head on my shoulder. I knew it was Anthony, he whispers "happy birthday" into my ear which sends shivers down spine. I turn around to face him placing my hands around his neck and staring deep into his beautiful blue eyes.

He stares back into my eyes and places his hands around my waist. We both started to lean in and kissed, it was long and very passionate. He was about to try and ask for an entrance by licking my bottom lip and just as I was about to approve the bell rang for the first class of the day. We slowly pulled away before going to get our stuff from our lockers.

Our first class of the day was maths which was ok I guess I mean it's a home-group class so I get to see Anthony, but then again I hate maths. I'm not like a dumb blonde or anything (I don't want to offend anyone that's blonde sorry😅) I'm actually pretty good like I'm at a year 8 level. But I still hate maths.

I get into class and I go straight over to sit next to Anthony, I sit at the back of the class but towards the middle of the desk. On my right is Vanessa and my left is Anthony and the rest of the desks and the ones in front of us is basically half of our crew. The rest of us are split up all over the place in different home-groups.

End of flashback

I shook it off and read his message.

"Hey xx"

What?
Ok I'm already confused.
Hang on, he cheated on me, moved to a whole new country - which just happened to be the one I was moving to - then started at the same school as me. But - yes ladies and gentlemen there is a but - not only did he do all of that he also just happened to bring my worst enemy which also happened to be the girl he was cheating on me with......... arrrrr it was good to get that off my chest

Hmmm I recon I can get to the bottom of this, I just have to play along but at the same time be a little confused, - well that's easy, I think.

But I'm also going to ask Joey if I can.
Cause I don't really want to go behind his back

I turned my phone off and got off of my bed. I walked over to the bathroom and knocked on the door.

Bree- Joey?

Joey- Yeah?

Bree- Ummm I just got a snap message from Anthony - my Ex - and I'm kind of confused as to why he's all of a sudden talking to me again.
