It was later in the day, approaching early evening, when things had settled down. Saku was with Anaeus who looked quite relaxed as he sat on his bed "it feels strange you know Saku. Sat here like this"
"what do you mean Anaeus?" asked Saku
"when we came to the championship, we had so many worries and everything. Whether he could find Father, whether we'd be okay? And if Ayoko would be okay and everything? And now it's just...gone"
"yeah...same for me I suppose"
Saku pressed a hand on his upper arm "I spent the last several months...carrying a heavy burden that I piled upon myself. I kept it all buried underneath, hoping it may just disappear. I feel rather stupid now"
"it was obviously painful for you Saku" said Anaeus trying to sound reassuring "I mean it didn't help with that Hidan guy messing with everyone"
"I...suppose not. But maybe if I confronted it sooner, nothing would've happened"
"hey...what's done is done Saku. Just let it go"
"yeah...you're right"
Anaeus then leaned back on his bed, putting his hands underneath his head, with his knees up "you know what...it's going to weird after this. Going to this Green B.U.S academy. What's it like...as an academy?"
"A lot more organized I tell you" said Saku "when I originally went, there was only one lesson a day. Everyone was just expected to train and practise. Things have changed since Cora has become headmistress. It's now a bit more stricter"
"a bit...sounds a little under exaggerated. Still, the biggest surprise...is the general atmosphere"
Saku was now curious "what do you mean by...general atmosphere?"
"well, until we came here" said Anaeus sitting up "we never left home before at all. It was quite a gloomy place really, everyone kept to themselves ...so it wasn't exactly a social neighbourhood. Yet everyone here are all quite open, even Suzuna and ice Queen" Saku thought of the secluded village
"Is Anaeus thinking of that secluded village from my dreams? Let's try fishing for info"
"So how come everyone kept to themselves?"
"it wasn't exactly very safe outside where we come from. Many of us stayed inside, especially during the evening time"
Saku remembered the curfew that was on the village how it matches what Anaeus was saying "oh, okay. You make it sound like no-one was allowed out during the night time"
"no, No nothing like that" said Anaeus a little quickly "it was just, better that we'd stay inside that's all"
"alright...if you say so. You made it sound like...you get trapped in your homes" Saku studied Anaeus' expression for a moment, seeing his plain face.
Saku did notice Anaeus eyes dart round the room but then chuckled "I'm kidding, Anaeus. It was just a joke" Anaeus laughed too...but sounding almost forced
"yeah...yeah just a silly joke is all" said Anaeus a little nervously
"What was your academy like? What was it, Discovery Academy?"
"ummm...just really harsh is all" Anaeus sounded rather quiet now "where he come from. You're either a fighter...or not where we are"
"that just sounds cruel" commented Saku "I mean surely the teachers wouldn't have it?" Anaeus didn't answer "Anaeus...?"
