Chapter 8 - Interesting..?

"im homee!" I hollored in and saw a girl on top of my dad

they stopped and looked at me , the girl looked kinda scared

"you're not mom, where's mom?" I tilted my head

Richard coughed "hey your home matt, mom is out in the moment and this is katherine. your other mom" he said casually

I frowned "my other mom? i only want one mom. and thats my mom. i want her!" I shouted, I was 9 at this moment

"shhh.. hey matthew. why dont you get in your room, and go see what i got you" Richard said

and it got me excited so i dropped my bag and run upstairs, but what they didnt know is that i caught them.

i got in to my room and jumped excitedly because dad just got me my brand new shoes, ive always wanted this shoe for my game at school this will be my first game joining the soccer team. i walked back down to thank him for it and i heard screaming from downstairs

"richard harder" they were on the couch and covered in blanket i cant see clearly

"harder?" i interupted them and dad looked at me with wide eyes the woman screamed and covered herself with the blanket

"matthew!" i looked at my dad and his eyes were full of anger "go upstairs! get in your room! now! and you're grounded!" he shouted

i flinched because it terrifies me but i fought back "for what! what did i do! i just wanted to thank you for the shoes, and now im grounded?! get a room!" and that set him off , he stood up and slapped me

"this is my house and i do whatever i want wherever i want, do you get it. now get up" he said sternly

"whatever" i said started walking up "and cover your junk! its disturbing!"

"come here!" and that caused me to run , i almost tripped. i slammed the door and covered my face with my pillow and cry. ive never cried this hard before, maybe because he never slapped me. i got so mad and i wanted to throw things, and one thing caught my eye. its the brand new shoe that he got me and i threw it hardly at the mirror and it breaks. moments later , jace come running to my room.

"Matthew! whats going on?" he said freaking out

the bell went off signaling the front gate has opened. we heard the front door opened

"mom! come up! Matthew broke the mirror! and he wont respond!" Jace shouted

i heard heavy footsteps and my mom entered few seconds later.

"oh my god! Matthew what are you doing?" i didn't budge i just stared at the 'broken' mirror

my mom approached me and shake me lightly

"Matt, talk to me baby" i looked up and saw her worried eyes

Richard suddenly come in view behind Jace and he looked shocked.

"Richard what happened?" mom asked him

"I.. I don't know." he stammered

"you don't know? you were suppose to take care of the kids while I'm gone" mom looked at him furiously

"he slapped me" i looked up at mom and she raised her eye brow

"you slapped him? why would you do that Richard!" she raised her voice and him

"i.. its an accident, i didnt mean it though"

i scoffed "huh? you don't mean it now do you?" i said in annoyance and he started to approach me
