They loved talking about life. Deep, thoughtful conversations that left them breathless in the end. They both liked cuddling - feeling the warmth of each other's bodies and letting out their feelings. They felt safe into each other's arms.
''Love is overrated '' She says. ''It always leaves you feeling empty in the end.''
''But don't you think it's worth it? ''
''No'' She replies. ''Not if it destroys who you are.''''No one comes into your life without teaching you some sort of lesson. Every time someone leaves you I want you to try to figure out what you've learned from your experience with them. I think by doing that you make it easier for yourself to move on because you realise that the hurt you're feeling right now isn't all for nothing and that one day you'll be glad it happened. '' He says and hugs her tighter.
She loves the way he's thinking. But she loves everything about him in general. He isn't attractive...but she thinks he's the cutest person alive. However, she's rather in love with his personality.
She looks at him and smiles. ''Do you know why I don't make eye contact with you often?'' She asks him.
''No, why? ''
''Every time I look at you I feel this unknown danger rise from my stomach to my throat. It makes my cheeks flush and my throat scratchy. It makes my stomach turn and it makes my hands clammy. Eye contact is a dangerous thing for a girl like me. All these feelings I feel when I look into your eyes scare me. All of it scares the hell out of me. ''
They both stayed there silent. They knew they were dangerous for each other, thet were like a drug. When they were together, they were high, when they weren't, they were low. And even though they knew one of them will get hurt in the end, they still needed each other.
