“Hey Ven!” Axel called out to him. Naminè was by his side clutching his hand loosely; her focus all on the screen of her white-cased phone trying to reach Roxas. The couple approached his brother who noticed them holding hands and smiled. Vanitas and Sora stood by him and smiled along.

“Nice to see you two are back together, what’s up?” Ventus asked.

“Have you seen Roxas?” Axel asked. He noticed Sora’s smile flicker and then die as his ex’s name was mentioned.

“Oh Roxas wouldn’t leave his room this morning,” Ventus answered grimly, “He missed the bus but I’m sure Tifa will probably drive him. She’s pretty strict about us going to school.”

Axel frowned, “Well…alright. Well when he comes I’ll let you guys know.”

“Thanks Axel, he probably didn’t wake up on time that’s all.”

                “Hey guys.”

Everyone stared silently at the source of the greeting, their jaws dropping at the sight. Roxas smirked at the group in an outfit that clicked in the minds of those heterosexual males as, “what the hell.” His shirt was tight, it was tight to the point where they doubted if he could breathe. His sleeves ripped off like they were done this morning. His pants similarly were tight, the denim acting like a second dark-blue skin. Various rips adorned it; all the way to the leather black boots he wore on his feet.

“Oh ho ho NO!” Ventus exclaimed and whisked his twin away to the bathroom.

“Come on Axel this is important, let’s go.” Naminè said as the two ran off after them.

Sora stayed still in his own world, dreaming of what he would do that bo-

“SORA SNAP OUT OF IT!” Vanitas exclaimed, slapping the back of his brother’s head.

Ventus threw open the door and dragged him inside. He chucked him an extra shirt from his bag, “Coach is probably gonna kill me but here. Wear it…now!” He ordered.

Roxas took the shirt and frowned, “Ven you ruined my plan!”

“Roxas what plan? What were you trying to get by dressing like- like a man-whore?” Ventus fumed at his brother. His shaking hand gripped at the porcelain of the sink.

His twin gasped, “Ven, you take that back!”

                “NO! WEAR THE DAMN SHIRT!”

“I’M NOT GONNA!” Roxas refused and tossed the shirt back at his brother.

“YOU WILL WEAR THIS SHIRT WHETHER YOUR ASS WANTS TO OR NOT!” Ventus charged at his twin who fought back with almost the same vigor. Roxas may have been a contender in cross-country, but Ven had been in his own sport of swimming. He subconsciously thanked that in cross-country, arm strength was not of utmost importance. He pushed the boy back and started forcing the shirt down on his lithe torso.

Before he could finish, the two felt someone separate them from each other. Roxas shook off the shirt and watched Axel struggling to keep Ven at bay, “WHAT DID TIFA THINK WHEN YOU LEFT THE HOUSE? SHE SHOULD HAVE MADE YOU STAY HOME INSTEAD OF DRIVING YOU HERE DRESSED LIKE THAT!”

“I walked here,” Roxas admitted spitefully, he tossed he shirt onto the tile flooring.

                Ventus stopped, “What?”

                “I walked here,” he repeated.

“Roxas you can’t do that. That’s nearly two miles.” He felt those few minutes of being an older brother kicked in and he pushed the redhead away.

                “I left early this morning.”

Ventus sighed and picked up the shirt. He dusted it off and held it out to him, “Please wear it, and I have a pair of gym shorts in my bag too.” He wasn’t demanding anymore, he was begging.

Roxas scrunched his eyebrows together and reluctantly complied. He replaced shirts and headed into the stalls to change into the shorts. His brother also gave him a pair of white sneakers to put on.

“The boots didn’t go well with the outfit anyway,” Axel joked. The two didn’t pay the comment any mind. Axel bit his lip and quietly exited the room where his girlfriend waited outside anxiously.

Ventus watched him put on the shoes before finally making up his mind, “Roxas this is it.”

                “What?”

“I’m putting my foot down, I know you still feel something for Sora but…this is it. I’m going to do everything I can to keep you two apart. This has gone too far, I can’t stand to watch you suffer like this. It is over.”
