Chapter 5
It's only a couple of minutes before our mentors come in. I don't know their names....yet. One of them looks like they just got hit in the head because they aren't doing so well walking. Mine sits down in front of me and Marvel's sits down across from him. I start to ask them about how to survive and what to do and what not to do. Before long though Marvel's is asking for the jam which right next to me. Instead of being polite and handing it to him I tell him to answer my question he refuses to and asks for the jam again but this time he goes to grab it. When his hand is on the table trying to grab the jam I grab a knife and put it between his fingers.
" That is mahogany!" shouted Zoë and I then look at Marvel.
He looks quite surprised I did that considering I'm 12.
Then I look at Marvel's mentor and he looks up at me and says" Well it looks like we have a fierce 12 year-old here considering most know nothing about fighting. "
I grin then stare him in the eyes.
