Chapter 7

I walk over to the train window and start looking at all the Capitol people who look very happy to see us arrive. When we get there we go into a car that drives us to the training center and I almost faint when I get to our floor which is the 1st since we are in discrict 1. It's so big that I start running around the place until I find a stair way that goes to all the up to the different balconies. I run up the stairs and I realise I'm at district 11's floor. I walk around their balcony then hear someone come outside from their floor. I turn around and see a girl who is my age and she has black hair, dark skin ,and brown eyes.

I walk over to her and hold out my hand and say" Hi I'm Glimmer from district 1. What's your name?".

" Rue " she says and gently shakes my hand.

I then say " Would you like to be allies I wouldn't hurt and I'm not teaming with the other careers ".

She says sure then I say " Well I'll see you at the opening ceremony okay?".

Then I run up another stair of flights and look down from 12's floor.

" It's beautiful. Don't you think? " says someone who sounds like a girl.

I turn around and suddenly get scared and start backing up until I'm all the way at the edge.

" Don't worry I won't hurt you. I'm Katniss from district 12. What's your name? " she says.

I calm down a little and say " I'm Glimmer from district 1. I come in peace even though I thought I was the only one that was going out on the balconies but I thought wrong.".

She smiles small and walks over to me and comforts me... she can tell I'm worried.

" Why would you be wrong about coming out on the balconies?" says Katniss.

" Well I did just find my first ally on the floor down which is district 11 " I say.

" Who is your ally?" Katniss asks.

" Rue she is my age... 12 " I say and stare her in the eyes.
