I open my eyes only to see my fan swirling around making it seem as if there is an aura revolving around the fast moving blades.
I hold my hand to my forehead that is continually throbbing; looking around the room only to notice that all of the lights are off and the door is shut.
What the hell happened?
Casting my eyes down to the wooden floor, I find bundles of comforters and pillows surrounding a body. I lean a bit forward, ignoring my headache, to find Isaac's face bright with the light of the moon. My eyes travel to his neck spotting something different, leaning a bit further I squint my eyes to find a inked pair looking back.
Once I see the tattooed eyes blink back at me I let out a slight gasp and quickly scramble backwards hitting my back on the headboard.
What the hell?
When did he get those?
Quickly I get out of my bed and run to open the door and leave. Every single light is off in the house. This didn't stop me from running and I was to late to realize that the railing was right in front of me.
I flip over the railing waiting to fall to my death. Hearing my heartbeats getting faster and the beats banging against my chest. But it never came. I open my eyes to find myself floating in midair, arms out wide subconsciously.
The living room starts to swirl, dissolving as if my home hadn't existed. I keep watching until it's all gone and I'm in a dark red cave. My body continues to fall and as if taunting me with death, stops me right before I hit the ground.
"Nathanael." I hear a whisper.
Feeling the drops of sweat falling down my face and the hairs around my arms and neck stick up, I stop my swarming and freeze.
Who the-?
My the thoughts are interrupted by someone whispering a name once again.
"Nathanael." The voice is chilling yet soft.
I strain my ears to try and locate the mocking voice but the echoes going around the cave distracts me from the main source.
"Nathanael." The echoes sound over and over again.
"Who is Nathanael?" I shout feeling my rage grow slightly.
No answer.
No voice.
No sound, yet the thump of my body falling to the pebbled ground, once the cave stops defying gravity. I groan as I feel sharp rocks dig into my stomach. Resting my palms on the rocky texture I raise myself onto my knees and then feet.
Looking around I spot stalactites hanging from the roof of the cave, appearing as if they would fall and crash down on me.
I walk towards one of the red stalagmites that grip to the ground. Resting my hand around the mound as I feel my headache increase in it's throbbing.
I close my eyes tightly trying to make the pain go away, but that only results in me losing my eyes sight for about ten seconds.
"Nathanael." The whisper sounds once again.
"Who the fuck is Nathanael?" I yell ignoring the pain that comes with it.
"They haven't told you?" The voice mocks.
I scrunch my eyebrows in confusion.
"They've kept it secret till this day." My tormentor states.
"Who? Who are you talking about?" I let go of the standing rock and advance my way towards the middle of the light swallowing cave.
"You know exactly of those I am speaking of!" The voice booms. "My little Nathanael, come home."
