Right before I posted this I realized I was lacking hella detail in things and its sort of rushed. And my grammar sucks and my punctuation soooooo, I'll ask my teacher for extra help to correct this________________________________________________________________________________________________________
As I strolled into Alexandrias’ temple, Daemonibus, I paused to admire the recent guard change. They sat still as statues. The stone beasts perched right above each entrance, ready to destroy the slightest detection of danger, made a wonderful addition to the giant marble structure. I turned my head to the largest, who has taken his place at the main entrance. His head suddenly turned in my direction; black beady eyes met mine.
Darthovs’ head dipped down low to his sharp talons, and his large arm shifted out as he bowed. He had a strong, smooth voice. The kind of voice that demanded attention whenever it spoke, ““Natasha, It is good to see you.” I nodded my head to him as well, “Likewise. How are things?”
“No trouble in the city. No trouble sighted anywhere. I’m sure my men have scared off any kind of it.” The hint of a smile appeared on his lips, showing long, twisted teeth.
“No, I meant you. How are you doing?” Darthov seemed taken aback by my comment and I made a mental note to speak to him more often about the common things in life.
“Well, my eldest son recently gave me my first grandchild. Ah, she’s a fighter. I don’t need to ask to see how happy you are now that, the queen is back. Speaking of her, she requested to see you immediately.” He winked at me, “In her quarters.”
“I’d better not keep her waiting. I’ll be seeing you then, Drathov.”
I didn’t attempt to hide my excitement as I raced to find Alexandria. Though I did pause to look at the anima comedenti, careful not to look into its’ cage. As I passed the giant black smoke filled dome, I heard it crash against the force field made specifically so demons couldn’t pass through. One of the few things that can hold it, though it still needs to be blessed every now and then by, some priest Alex kept around.
I’ve never understood why Alex would want to keep her ‘royal pet’ inside. She's such a child at times it's ridiculous honestly. It would kill anything it sees at first chance. It doesn’t even take commands from me; it’s not a true part of nature. As the goddess of the natural world, it makes my skin crawl just to think about it, though I'd never tell her.
“Natasha? I don’t have all night to way for you to come in.” Her voice was hardly muffled by the door, I hadn't even realized I reach.I shook my head clearing my thoughts and opened the door, stepping in. She had a large bed fit for a queen in the centre of the room, blood red night stands on either side. Due to her pyro Alex was sitting at her desk, one leg crossed over the other, clad in nothing but a golden silk robe that matched her eyes and cloaked her small frame. In her hand was a small piece of paper that she tossed casually in the air. It burst into flames and denigrated in less than a second. She glanced my way examining me, before giving her attention back to the papers on her desk. She shifted through them, reading and burning the pages. I just watched in awe, it's been so long since I've seen her and it's like she's gotten more and more beautiful for each day that has passed.
"I bite but I won't bite you." Alexandria was suddenly in front of me, arms around my neck, a small smile on her face, "Yet."
She stretched on her toes to place her lips an inch from mine, but when I leaned in to close the gap she moved. Each time. I growled irritably at her, "Stay still."
"I feel as if you only love me for my body. Is that true?"
I smirked at her, "It isn't but I'd like to feed sometime this century. I've only waited half a millennium. The least you could do is not kill me."
