"You won by two points!" Marshall said and I laughed.

"Micah won." I said and changed Micah's diaper. I put the bottle of formula in the microwave and Marshall backed me up against the counter. I smiled and looked at him.

"We need to get him to bed." I said and looked at his blue eyes.

"Come on babe. All of our friends are staying here, we should go out for the night."

"I'd hate to leave them." I said and he looked at me.

"Come on baby." He said and I smiled.

"Okay." I said and he kissed me.

"Let's go." He said and I grabbed Micah and popped the bottle of milk in his mouth. I rubbed his back and Cali came into the kitchen.

"Y'all wanna go out? We can watch Bubba." We nodded and Cali grabbed. Micah from me. We kissed the kids goodnight and walked to the truck.

Kim's POV

2 Hours Later

I picked up my house phone and called Marshall.

"What Kim." He said and I smiled.

"I want the kids tonight?"

"Damn it. Rochelle, we gotta go back home." It was quiet for a little and then he answered.

"Me and Rocky are on a date right now, Kim. Can't I bring them tomorrow."

"The kids come first."

"No because it's late." Marshall said and I sighed.

"Can I go get them?" He groaned and I heard Rocky tell him to turn around.

"Damn, whatever Kim I'll bring them. You know I don't like this last minute shit." He said.

"Sorry." I said.

30 Minutes Later

I opened the door and looked into Marshall's piercing blue eyes. The girls were sleeping on his shoulders.

"Hey." I said and he walked in and upstairs into the girls rooms. I walked upstairs and heard him speaking to Hailie.

"I don't want you to go."

"I can't stay here, I'm not with mommy."

"Can you get mommy. She let's me touch Whitney."

"Mommy's belly is getting huh?"

"Yes." Hailie said.

"You ready to be a big sister again."

"Yes." She said and Marshall laughed.

"I love you. Now, daddy has to go but I'll be at school to pick you up tomorrow okay." Marshall said and kissed her.

"I love you too Daddy." Hailie said and I walked into the bedroom. Marshall stood up and looked at my bump before walking past me.

"Marshall." I said and walked downstairs.

"Kim, I got shit I got to do to make up for date night so I'll call you later." He said and hugged me. He walked out and all I could think about was his cologne. It was really minty and my favorite. I snapped out of my thoughts and walked upstairs. I slid into bed with Hailie and she wrapped around my waist.

Morning

I woke the girls up and had them take showers. I got dressed and made them pancakes. This pregnancy was extremely hard on me. Emotionally because I wanted this to be Marshall's, we had just gotten back together when I found out. When he got home I told him.

Flashback

August 20, 2001

"Kim." Marshall said and Rocky was sitting on the counter looking at me angry. I had just told her and because they had broken up because he wanted to be with me. So we'd been together for a month. I ran into his arms and hugged him.

"Hi." I said and he smiled. I was two months pregnant and I felt bad.

"Hey Rocky, where's Micah?" He asked her.

"In the crib." She said and opened the bottle of water. I had him sit down.

"I want a divorce." I said and said and he looked at me.

"You're joking right?" He asked and looked at me.

"No."

"Any other surprises, Kim?" He questioned and I nodded.

"I'm pregnant." I said and he looked at me.

"Kim don't forget the other half!" Rocky shouted from the kitchen. Marshall's eyes got real icy.

"It's not yours." His vain popped out his neck.

"How could you stoop that low?"

"You got Rocky pregnant."

"We weren't together Kim! Me and you were not together! What are you about to say? I don't spend enough time with you? I ain't got no time, for these games and stupid tricks, you played me!" He said and I looked away.

"I didn't play you."

"Slut." He said and I stood up and pushed him,"Kim get the fuck out. I swear I wish I hadn't ripped up the prenup." He said and grabbed me and threw me out onto the porch and locked the door. I then saw him open the window and my stuff fly onto the ground. He threw the keys down and when I tried to find my house key I realized he broke it and melted it with a lighter.

Present

"Mommy." Hailie said and I smiled.

"You almost done?" I asked and she nodded. I smiled and then walked into the bathroom. I turned on the fan and shower and started crying.

"Oh my god I'm so fucked up." I mumble and dropped my head. Misery sunk in and I wiped my eyes. My phone started ringing and I answered.

"Hello."

"Hey Kim." Marshall said and I sniffled.

"Hi."

"Look I wanted to know if you could keep them again for the night."

"Why?"

"I'm proposing tonight and I just want it to be me and her."

"Sure. Whatever." I said and hung up.
