You woke up one morning and decide to take a shower. And you had to do before Marshall wakes up because you didn't want him to see your...problem....
But he woke up anyways and decide to find out where you went.
You were in the bathroom taking off your shirt when Marshall walked in. "Hey-oh shoot sorry I didn't know you were..." He trailed off as soon as he saw your back. You gasped and put a towel around you.
He saw your scars...
"(Y/n)... What happened?" He asked. You avoid his eyes. "Did someone do that to you?" He asked now angry at the thought of someone hurting you.
"Yes.." You answered. "Who was it!?" His eyes started to grow red. "He's long gone...dead more like it." You told him. "Why? What happened?" he asked you. "His name was Kuro, he attacked me and my mother...I got away but..." You started to tear up.
"Hey hey, it's okay. "He walked over to you and hugged you tightly. "Can you tell me what happened?" He asked. You nodded.
"'I was just a little kid. And me and her were out late at night..."
Flashback!
Ten years ago...
"It's getting late (Y/n), we should head home." You mother told you. "Ok mama!" You said as you ran next to her. You start walking but something just seemed off...
You mothers stopped. "Mama? What's wrong?" You asked. She sniffed the air and let out a low growl "(Y/n) get behind me now." She tells. you. You did what she said and hid behind her leg. "Wh-what is it mama?" You asked.
She didn't answer she just kept still. "Come out! I already know your there!" She yells. Suddenly you hear a low laugh. "Well well well, look who it is. How have you been Maria?" A tall man walks out from a tree. He was just like you and your mother, half cat.
"Kuro, what do you think your doing here? This is not your territory! Leave, now!" She tells him. "Come no, Ii don't mean any harm, that is of course if you tell your husband to make me the new leader of your pack!" He told her.
"Never! Go back to your pack, this is your final warning!" She says. "I'm afraid I can't do that." He said. "Then you leave me no choice!" She looks back at you and goes down to your level. "(Y/n) go back to the pack and tell them what's happening." She tells you. "B-but mama what about you? What if you get hurt? I can't leave you here!" You said hugging her tightly.
"(y/n) I'm not asking and I'm telling you, go now! I need you to be safe." She says. She kisses your forehead. "I love you" She whispers. "Now go please, quickly!" She said. You start to cry but you do as your told and run.
But you couldn't stand to leave her so you hid behind a tree.
She then turns into her wolf form and attacks. He does the same."If you think you can just come here and threaten my family and clan then you have another thing coming!" She claws and bites at him and eventually gets him down.
"I told you to turn back now you will pay the price for stepping into our territory!" She yells as she goes for his neck.
But he dogged her attack and pinned her down. "You had your chance to give up, but now its too late!" He yells as he bites down on her neck. She wails in pain as she struggles to get away. But it's no use he's got her now.
You scream as you watch him take your mothers life. He looks over at you smirking as he takes a final bite at her neck. Her body goes limp and blood runs down her neck. She turns back to her human form for the last time. Tears streamed down your face, Kuro walks over to you still in his wolf form grinning evilly.
You couldn't move after seeing such a gory scene. You were shaking as he got closer and closer. You look up as he stood over you, you finally got the strength to move and ran as fast as you could.
He ran after you, it didn't take him long to catch up with you. He swiped his paw and clawed your back. You scream in pain as you fall to the ground three huge bloody scars run down your back.
As he was about to kill you your father and three other members of the pack come out and attack him. Your father stayed and protect you as the other two killed Kuro. He grabs you and holds you tight and runs over to your mother.
His eyes widened at the sight of his dead wife. He closes his eyes tightly and cries gently.
The other two had picked up her body and carried her back to the pack. Everyone was sadden by the lost of one of the pack leaders.
End of Flashback
By the end of the story you were crying. Marshall held you in his arms tightly. "I'm so sorry." He kissed you lips and hugged you tightly. "I'll make sure you'll never have to go through something like that again." He said as you buried you head in his chest.
"Everyone expects me to be just like her, a perfect leader but truth is I don't even want to be pack leader. But it's not like I have a choice." You tell him. "You don't have to go back you know, you can stay here with me." He says.
"They'll find me eventually. Then once they figure out you've been keeping me, then your going to be in a lot of trouble." You said. "Your making it sound like i'm holding you captive, and what kind of trouble exactly?" He asked.
"Well, I'm the daughter of the pack leader that just happens to be the most feared in the land, so I'd say death...that or they'll just give you a serious beating." You tell him. "Whoa... really?" He asked. You nod. "*Yawn* I'm so tired all of a sudden...I'm just gonna sleep...for a...while" You say as you slowly fall asleep.
"Dang, I hate when she falls asleep on me. It's so boring" He mumbled
