After a few weeks of everyone -mainly Vic- helping Tess get off the drugs, nothing had really changed. Vic had started to act weird and had given up on Tess- given up on life really. She wasn't going to class, she wasn't doing anything. I knew that she hadn't had the best life and I just thought Tess' drug use had pushed her into depression but it was worse than that.

Vic had started abusing drugs again. Again.

I mean Tess had been getting high but what Vic was doing was way more dangerous.

I was getting pretty worried about both of them. I kept thinking about what Dusty must have thought about the whole situation, I mean she had no idea why Vic would have any reason to turn to drugs or be depressed at all. On the outside we all seemed so happy. I just hoped Dusty's sweet smile wasn't fake.

One day, in literature class, a new student was introduced. She was a cusomity elf, our school- Shatrona High - was a school for any magical beings but it was mostly occuipied by Fairflowers. Me being me, at the end of class I walked up to her, "Hi there, I'm Tommy," I said, offering a warm smile.

"Um, hi.... I'm meg," she replied, shyly, twirling her rediculously long, plum coloured hair round her fingers. "Wanna come hang out with me and my friends?" I asked, nodding my head towrds the canteen. "Don't worry, most of my friends are girls, they'll make you feel welcome," I said with another smile.

She seemed so nice that day. How wrong can a man be. Stupid
