Chapter 17

The hospital was the biggest one she's ever been in, all the doctors running around with their nurses following them wanting to write down everything they did, the receptionist getting a call every minute and every second having people come up to them asking when their loved ones would be out, but the thing that scared her the most was the doctors walking towards the waiting room giving the bad news to families and watching them cry as their whole world was crumbling.She felt overwhelmed with all the people running around and the people getting the bad news thinking, that could be Jon and her family she can't even think about the pain they would be in, especially Jon. Her heart starting beating faster then usual and her hands started to get sweaty,her head started to feel fuzzy and her vision started turning into a blur, she didn't realize what was happening until Jon sat her down quickly and tried to talk to her."Olivia can you hear me? Olivia? Olivia!" she heard him but,she wasn't listening to him.Her mind raced around the idea of losing her family and the love of her life forever,losing the one thing that made her feel safe, the one thing that made all of insecurities fade away, the one thing that made her feel like she was at home no matter if she was or not. She tried to say something to Jon reassuring him that she was okay but her throat felt clogged, she couldn't breathe let alone whisper to Jon if she even tried. Jon tried to calm her down somehow and couldn't think of anything to do and everyone around him just stood there watching, doing nothing. Jon scrambled around the magazines hoping there was a book on how to stop panic attacks and he finally found something. He ran back to Olivia and she looked at her scared at what would come next, Jon quickly kneeled close to her and kissed her long and hard. Olivia couldn't believe that Jon had kissed her in middle of a crisis like this but her shortness of breath slowly started to fade away the longer Jon kept his lips on hers. Olivia soon started breathing normally and removed her lips from Jon who opened his eyes wide wanting to make sure she was okay "Olivia, baby, are you okay?" Olivia couldn't help but smile at Jon, she really did love Jon and she couldn't express it to him how much she did "I am now baby. Thank you." Jon pecked her lips lightly and shortly after that the doctor called them for the check up. Jon held Olivia's hands the whole time, the hospital room seemed somewhat small for a check up that was very serious. "Hello Olivia and..." "Jon" the doctor smiled at Jon "Yes Jon hello so today we are going to have a checkup to see how you are doing and to see if you are getting better or not. Are you ready?" Olivia looked at Jon and Jon nodded slowly, they said in unison "we're ready." The doctor checked on Olivia with these "gadgets" Jon had no idea what they were, Jon watched and bit his nails nervously and when he couldn't but his nails he bit the inside of his cheek. Jon hadn't realized Olivia was done until she came back into the room and sat next to Jon looking nervously around the room while the doctor went to check on how she was. "Olivia, baby. It's okay I won't leave you and will always stay here no matter if you get better or worse." Olivia looked up from her shoes and smiled at Jon tears forming in her eyes "Jon I love you and always will but I want you to know that I know how you feel when you aren't in the studio. You miss writing and singing music Jon,face it. I want you to have time to do what you want Jon, that's why I invited my best friend to come and check on me when you aren't here." Jon felt happy but upset at the same time because he wanted to take care of her but he wanted to keep pursing his dream of traveling the world with his friends and writing music. "Olivia baby I'm sorry I wish I could take care of you-" Olivia kissed Jon hard on his lips catching him by surprise but he didn't hesitate to kiss back. Olivia slowly bit Jon's lips making his voice hitch and causing him to feel butterflies in his stomach. The kiss didn't end and was getting more intense as Olivia sat on Jon's laps kissing him harder and harder, she started bucking her hips on Jon's causing him to let out a quiet moan and causing Olivia to separate her lips from his and kiss his cheek. "I love you Jon and it's okay baby I understand." Jon huffed at Olivia for teasing him but he couldn't help stay mad at someone like Olivia. The doctor came in seconds after their make-out session, Both Jon and Olivia tried to read the doctor's face but his face couldn't reveal anything. "Jon and Olivia I have Olivia's results right here and I just want to prepare you guys for what I'm about to say." Jon's heart started pounding harder and harder trying to break down the sentence the doctor said to see if the answer was somewhere in his sentence. Jon grabbed Olivia's hand and held tight. Olivia couldn't believe what the doctor had said and so couldn't Jon.
