The ACTUAL Audition

"Okay class, welcome to the audition to be a part of the Company of Artistic Movement! Just so you guys know, we take dancing really seriously so don't expect everyone to be accepted." said Dan

"Yeesh. That man is strict." Ella whispered

"Oh yeah that reminds me. Everyone welcome Jace Norman to take class. He is with us so I can get a feel with who can actually match the company's style."

Everyone clapped. Especially the girls. They looked at Jace as he was taking off his warm-ups. I could see faces looking as if their faces could melt. Gross. Just gross.

Then Jace looked at me. He smiled, winked, and then turned around to face the barre.

"Yep. He's totally into you."

"Ella, we're here to audition. Not to look at cute guys."

Ella smirked at me. "So you admit that Jace is cute."

"What? No! You know what? Let's just stretch."

Okay. I admit, Jace is cute. But I'm not looking for a boyfriend. I'm looking for a spot on the company.

STILL RIELE POV
Okay, so far so good. Haven't tripped or fallen yet. I actually managed to get a quad in a combo and Dan saw it! I think he smiled at me I don't know. But then, I saw Isabela glaring at me. I didn't know her problem so I just kept on going.

"Okay, now we will do partnering so pick your partners." Dan said

"And actually, I want to pair Jace and Riele. The others can pick."

JACE POV
Wow. Nice Dan. Now I'll have Bela even more mad at me. Actually, I don't care anymore. I broke up with her. I don't need to think about her anymore.

"Hey." Riele whispered

"Hi"

Everybody was with their partner.

"Okay, lets start with an adagio. Guys hold the girls's waist and girls go on sousou (stand on her toes)."

I grab Riele's waist and stood close behind her for support. I guess she was uncomfortable because she kind of squirmed.

"If I'm too close you can tell me. I don't mind."

"It's okay. I just thought that you have an overprotective girlfriend." She said laughing to herself

"Overprotective EX girlfriend now."

We learned the combo and did it perfectly. It was the perfect match. By the end of the combination, we were both out of breath and drowned in sweat. We managed to end with a slight smile. The other partners did their combination and then the audition was over.

"Thank you everybody for coming. I know some of you have come from far from here so I hope you had a good experience here. I will post the results most likely next week. Thanks again! Oh, and can I talk to Riele Downs real quickly before she leaves. Jace, I need to talk to you too."

RIELE POV
"Well go on, Dan wants to talk to you!" Ella told me

"Okay, can you just wait out in the hallway please? I'm pretty sure it won't be that long."

"Alright fine. I wouldn't have a ride anyways."

"Thank you Ella, you're the best!"
