Chapter 6

Sergio and the rest of the team were stretching on the freshly cut grass of Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. They were getting ready for their game, the opposing team Atletico Madrid had already arrived and were stretching as well on the other side of the field. The fans were there, all dressed in the jerseys of the team they were supporting, already screaming and shouting.

Sergio couldn't help but fidget anxiously, his mind in another place as he absentmindedly went though his stretching routine. His teammates looked at him curiously, wondering why their teammate was so out of it.

"Oi se-se what's up with you today?" Pepe asked, coming up next to Sergio and putting a hand on his shoulder in concern.

Sergio looked up at his friend and nodded his head.

"I'm fine, it's just that Ange and Rafa are coming to watch our game today and I'm nervous" Marcelo and Cristiano raised their eyebrows in surprise. They knew that Sergio and the woman that he had met had went on a date a couple days ago but for her to have already met his son? That was a surprise.

"She's met Rafa already?" Cristiano questioned, coming up to sit in the small circle that had formed around Sergio. They still had 30 min left till the game began so no worries.

Sergio smiled, thinking about his girlfriend and his son.

"Yeah, she's great with him" Cristiano looked at Sergio a bit jealous that he had found a woman who liked both him and his son who wasn't hers. It was hard to find someone who accepted a child who wasn't theirs.

"I'm just so nervous man, like what if I don't play well today? And she leaves me because I look like a fool out there?" Sergio was now on his feet pacing back and forth not noticing the surprised looks on his teammates faces.

Marcelo looked behind Sergio as he caught a glimpse of blonde hair. He smirked at the still panicking Sergio.

"Well you better stop panicking before you make a fool of yourself NOW, your lady love is headed this way"

Sergio's head turned so fast it's a wonder he didn't get a whiplash.

The RM members looked at where Sergio was looking with dumbstruck faces. A tall blonde woman was walking towards them, baby in her arms, and a small grin on her face as she caught sight of Sergio.

"Hola" Solange said as she stepped in front of Sergio who was still staring at her with a dopey smile. She giggled when she say Gareth not so subtly elbow him in the side making Sergio snap out of it.

"Hola" he said walking the small distance that separated them and kissing her on the check, smoothing his hand over his sleeping son's hair.

"I am so glad I made it before the game started, and I'm sorry I'm so late it's just that I was stuck in traffic because you know everyone was trying to get to the game too, and then when I got to the entrance and told the security guard to take me here I swear he almost laughed at me but then I remembered the pass you gave me so I had to go all the way back to my car to get it and-" Sergio kissed her making her stop mid rant. The boys whistled behind him though he stubbornly ignored all of them.

"Y-you" Ange stuttered turning a bright shade of red.

"BOYS COME ON LETS GO, GET ON TO THE FIELD" The coach yelled at the RM players.

Sergio looked at his girlfriend and son. He grinned softly as he noticed her silently fussing over Rafa, making sure he was warm enough and that he was comfortable in her arms.

He walked towards them, his motivations. He wrapped both of them in his arms, kissing them on the top of their heads.

"Good luck" Ange whispered tilting her head up a bit to kiss him on his cheek.

"Say good luck to papa Rafa" Sergio laughed as his girlfriend took Rafa's small fist and waved it at him. He kissed his sons fist, getting ready to leave when he was tugged back by Ange.

Solange grabbed Sergio by the collier of his shirt -making sure to hold on tight to Rafa- and pulled him into a passionate kiss. She let go of her boyfriend and smiled smugly at the slightly lost look on his face.

"Go get em tiger" Sergio nodded his head absentmindedly, waving to them and jogged out of the tunnel.

"Well Rafa, lets go up to the viewing box so we can watch daddy kick butt" Ange said to the baby in her arms, walking towards where the VIP section was for important spectators and the WAGS.
