Niall and I both looked at the officers standing there."have a seat."

we both sat down.I looked at Katie.she was sound asleep.but I knew it was best if she was awake for this.

I genlty rubbed her shoulder.

she opened her big blue eyes and looked at me.then noticed that we had company.

"what the hell?oh my god!did you find Darcy?please tell me my baby's okay."

She freaked out.

"I'm sorry we haven't found your child yet...but we did get some information from the county jail that your father has reported missing."

the whole room got dead quiet.all three of us sat there looking at these two men in complete silence.

how is that fucking possible!?

"what the hell do you mean he's gone?he's locked up there is no ducking way someone that size can ecape."I said so confused and scared.

"he's been missing for three days now....we think that he's the reason for your daughters kidnapping."

"no...its not true...he has to be in there some where."

Katie freaked out.you could see her legs starting to shake.I grabbed her by her side and held her.

I looked at Niall who looked back at me.

"we would like you to go under protecfion ..."

"when you say under protection what do you mean?"I asked.

"whiteness protection program."

the officer said.

"not only do we want you to go under protection we also think it would be best if you all moved out of state and into a safer state where he won't be able to find you."

"what if tlwe fond Darcy?I can't leave u until we find my daughter."

Katie protested.

"we will fly your daughter out to you when we find her...we have it under control."

I swallowd.

our whole lives where here.this is where we grew up,went to school.

we couldn't just pack everything up and leave it all behind.

but if it would make the people I loved safe.then it was something we had to do.

"okay...we'll do it."

Katie looked at me and just started crying.

"hey,look at me....everthing is going to be okay...we're going to be safe...everything is going to be okay."

niall looked at the two officers and wondered, "where are we going to go?...we can't leave our friends behind."

"we decided since your friends knew your parents that it is best for them to go under cover with you."
