My name is Thomas, that's all I can remember. Where am I? Who am I? I have so many questions but no answers. I started to crawl around trying to find where I was going even though it was pitch black, the little pieces of gravel starting to pierce my skin. I also heard small droplets of water echoing throughout the room as they hit the ground.
"Hello?" I heard from a feminine voice. It came from a short distance away and I was contemplating answering when it came again, another human voice.
"Hello!" A masculine voice said.
Weird, why are they so open about the fact they are here, are they not concerned that something might hear us? Eventually three more voices were heard throughout wherever we were. Two female and one more male voice was heard, symmetrical, something didn't sit right with me. Everything felt distant and wrong for a moment before someone bumped into me making me hit the wall with my shoulder.
"Why the fuck didn't you say anything, we all can't just know where you are. There is another person here everybody!" The person exclaimed quite a bit too loud for my liking. They all showed some weird form of happiness before a conversation starting growing among them, I continued to wave my hands around the room looking for a way out of this place and some light while still listening to the conversation. I learned quite a bit from their senseless chattering, they were Sarah the girl who was first to speak, Michael the boy first to respond, Mia who had barely said a word, Amy who liked to talk, Daniel the one who bumped into me, and last but not least myself.
"What's your name?" Daniel said.
"Who?" Sarah asked.
"The kid I bumped into"
"My name is Thomas" I said quietly while I quickened up the pace of trying to find my way out.
They devolved into senseless chattering again and even tried to ask me questions but all I could give unlike the rest was, I don't know, which made Daniel and Michael quite suspicious of me. After mindless wandering for what felt like hours I finally found a dip in the ground and it seemed like it continued onward. I kept crawling for a couple minutes and I finally started to see a little bit of light in the distance.
"Guys! I found some light" I yelled out behind me, I was quite far away from them but I hoped they would hear me.
"Were coming!" I heard Sarah shout from behind me.
I stood up and stopped moving so I could wait for them to come to me. Once they finally caught up I just moved to the back, which Mia was saving for me, and stayed there. The light was coming from a small torch ahead of us, but it seemed like something was holding it. I stopped and tried to feel around myself and noticed that I had leather armor on, which I didn't remember putting on, and a small leather holster. I touched along the length of the holster and noticed that it was in the shape of a knife, or to be more specific, a dagger.
"What is that?" Michael whispered. I looked ahead and saw a small green thing holding what I wanted, the flame. It looked grotesque and had a abnormally big head supported by a malnourished small body. It also had bruises and gashes all around it's body.
"What are we going to do?" Michael whispered although closer this time.
"Let's kill it, we have swords right?" Daniel whispered although it sounded like he was in a hurry, why did he sound rushed? Oh, he was excited.
"Let's not be hasty here" Sarah said in a small voice but it seemed Daniel had already brandished his sword. Since when did he get it out of it's holster? Michael also seemed a little too quiet for my liking so I tried to back Sarah up.
