Christmas

Monday morning MCgonall was taking names of who was going to stay for Christmas. destiny signed hers so did Riley,nikki and many other gryffondors alli simply shook away the the parchment

"Your not staying?" asked destiny brushing her hair

Nicole don't seem to notice till Dest said something

"What do mean your not staying!" said Nikki "we where going to have so much fun"

"Well... I-" alli got cut off by destiny

"You could of told us" whispered Dest looking at the fire

Alli stood up

"You never asked" she said quietly so only destiny could hear

Alli smiled "well than I guess I'd better go pack" she hurried upstairs

"That little p...." Riley caught himself "well I'm tried to goodnight" he said quickly as he ran up the stairs to the boys dormitories

"What was he going to call her" asked Nikki

Destiny shrugged

Later during potions alli was suturing her potion it was Turing a greenish orange and smelt like something similar to wood she could see out of the corner of her eye nikki's potion was pink and was slightly spilling over her cauldron while destiny's was an ugly green and smelt like eggs she was holding her breath and gagging a little

A tall man with a hooked nose and black greasy hair stood over allis shoulder for a second alli's heart was pounding in her chest as he called TIME!

Nikki put her potion into a small cubical and walked with the rest of the first years to snape's Desk he looked up at destiny

"Not very good at potions are you?"

She said nothing

"Well?" he said deeply though enjoying himself

By now the whole class was starring

"well than off you go" said Snape

Destiny didn't hesitate she left before anyone els Nicole and alli chased after her Riley figured her should let it play out instead of interfering he walked towards the green houses,the sun was shinning slightly among the gray clouds the wind was light conceding the season Riley turned to see alli walking very fast and looked annoyed she walked past him blowing bangs out of her face

"What's wrong?"

"Nicole and destiny are prats!"

She stopped by the green house doors fixed he pony tail and walked in slowly pretending like nothing happened

The next morning came quick and alli was pulling down her trunk onto the hogworts express followed by a hufflepuff and two Ravenclaws and three gryffondors alli sat in a compartment alone than a big slithren stopped by the glass doors alli grabbed her wand but didn't pull it out he stood there for a moment alli got up and opened the door

"Hello" she said

"Hi" he replied

"Can I help you?"

Another big slithren ,alli new as Goyle came and elbowed him hard in the side and they both left at once alli found this a bit odd.

Destiny woke up to find a stack of presents piled high

"Nikki! nikki! wake up"

Nikki opened one eye

"Why"

Dest pointed to nikki's pile of presents,nikki quickly got up and took the one from the top destiny destiny did the same they both were wrapped in silver paper with a gold string and and a white tag with red writing

"It's from alli" said destiny

Nikki red it aloud

Dear Nikki, I'm sorry about not telling you I couldn't stay I should of told you guys, see you in a week or so

Destiny's said the same

"I wonder what it is?" asked Nikki

"Only one way to find out"

"Well actually..."

"Just shut up and open it"

The both tore off the silver paper

Before them was box chocolate frogs and a pair of diamond earrings

"She must really be sorry" said Dest laughing

"Wake up! wake up! Wake up!" yelled Neville in Riley's ear

"Why?"

"Christmas!"

"Wha-" rile shot up "sweet!" he said taking a present of the top it was wrapped in green paper with a tap

Dean read the tag and smiled

"Oooooo, from Nicole"

the other boys laughed

" I'm gonna do this one last then" he said putting it to the side

"Awww come on" said the other boys

"No it's okey he can open this one first" said dean throwing a silver present at him he caught it and looked for the tag

Dean held up something Riley recognized the slanted hand writing

"It's from... of course, alli" announced dean

The boys laughed again

"Give it!" said Riley holding out his hand

Riley unwrapped it, it was a box of chocolate frogs

The boys watched as he unwrapped Nikki's present a bag of Berte bots every flavor beans and dests the same.
