Potter Wedding

Hermione was woken up by Mrs Weasley on the day of Ginny and Harry's wedding. Ginny was already up in the shower and Mrs Weasley said the guests would start to arrive in three hours. Then that the wedding would start two hours after that. "When Ginny gets out of the shower hop in shower, Luna and Susan will start on Ginny's hair" she tells Hermione.

"Of course, thank you Mrs Weasley" Hermione says with a smile.

"You're family dear enough with Mrs Weasley, call me Molly" Mrs Weasley tells her before leaving the room. Ginny soon exited the bathroom as Susan and Luna arrived. With their hair and make up done already, Molly had their dresses laid out for them. Hermione went into the bathroom while the other two girls helped Ginny get her make-up done the muggle way.

"Hurry up Hermione!" Ginny called fifteen minutes later and Hermione exited the bathroom in her robe.

"You look lovely Ginny" Hermione states with a smile then with Susan's help started on Ginny's hair. While Luna dried and brushed Hermione's hair. "Harry won't be able to keep his hands off you" she tells her friend who blushes under her make-up.

"Your hairs done Hermione, Susan will do your make-up and then you need to get dressed" Luna states. She then went to put her dress on in the bathroom while Susan finished Ginny's hair twenty minutes later. Ginny then started on Hermione's make-up as Luna returned and Susan left to change into her dress.

"Draco is going to drool at the sight of you Hermione" Ginny states.

"This is your day Ginny, not mine" Hermione reminds her. It was time for her to get into her pink dress as Susan returns. "When I return, we'll help you into your dress" she states and reenters the bathroom with her dress. It still fitted her and she returned to Ginny's bedroom to see Molly had arrived.

"Good timing Hermione, all the guests have arrived and are waiting downstairs. Help me with Ginny's dress" she states. Luna had disappeared, probably to show the guests to their seats as maid of honour. Today we'll be meeting Luna's fiance Rolf Scamander and Susan had decided to marry Theo. So he was also invited today and well meet everyone. Lucky he'd have Draco and Blaise to keep him company during the reception, when no one was dancing.

It was time for the bridal party and bride to walk down the aisle. Neville and Luna would down first as best man & Maid of honour. Susan will then walk down with Seamus and Hermione was walking down with Draco. Followed by Ginny who was being walked down the aisle by her father Arthur. "You look beautiful Hermione, I look forward to our wedding day" Draco whispers in Hermione's ear as they walked down the aisle.

They reached the end and separated for Hermione to stand next to Susan and for Draco to stand next to Seamus. The piano began to play as Arthur walked Ginny down the aisle and Mrs Weasley is in tears. Harry locks eyes with Ginny captivated by her beauty, thought she'll always be beautiful in his eyes. Ginny wanted to run to Harry, but paced herself knowing it would e worth the wait.

Once she reached the end Harry kissed her cheek as they hold hands. Professor McGonagall then starts the ceremony, yes they asked for her to marry them. Ginny and Harry gave their own personal vows as they exchanged rings. With each vow a magical ribbon appeared around their clasped hands. "By the power invested in me I pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride" McGonagall states tapping their bound hands with her wand. They kissed passionately as sparks flew around them ceiling their marriage bond.

As the newly weds walked down the aisle together pink and red rose petals fell on them. Harry as his grey suit and pale pink tie. Then the bridal party followed them and then everyone apperated to Hogwarts for the reception in the Great Hall. Which had round tables everywhere with a big one for the newly weds and bridal party (including their dates). Then an other big table for Ginny and Harry's immediate family and their dates.

Luna and Susan introduced their fiances as the bridal party sat at their table. George then got up to call people up for their speeches. Once they were done Professor Flitwick announced the first dance between Harry and Ginny. The bridal party joined them on the dance floor as the second song started. Then it was time for the father and daughter dance so Arthur cut into Harry's dance with Ginny. While Molly took Harry for a mother and son dance.

Hermione started to tear up knowing her parents won't be at her wedding and will never see her children. Draco noticed and took her outside for some fresh air. "Don't cry Hermione, everything will be okay I promise" he assures her as he hugs her closely.

"How can you know that?" Hermione asks as silent tears run down her cheeks.

"Because your parents would be so proud of you as I am to be you fiance. You helped destroy the most evil wizard if our time and stop a war that could have lasted for decades. Not to mention want you do now, you are freeing house elves and bringing peace back between wizards & magical creatures again. As well as destroying the laws that have favored Purebloods for generations, so that now everyone will have equal rights" he tells her.

"Thank you Draco, I need to hear that" Hermione states and goes to kiss him on the cheek. But he turns his head and their lips connect instead. "Sly little snake" she giggles pulling away slightly.

"I assure you I am in no way little" Draco assures her as he kisses her neck gently. Making Hermione blush madly and he chuckles. "I like it when you blush, but we must return to the party" he states. "Besides you still owe me a dance" he reminds her and they went back inside. They danced until the food appeared and they returned to their table. The rest of the night was uneventful and the newly weds left at eleven for their honeymoon in Paris for a few days until the next wedding. While everyone else remained partying until one in the morning and they all returned to their separate homes.
