"What did they do to Shanon." Pink grabbed onto Decibel's seat, pulling himself foward.  Decibel looked at me biting his lip gently with excited eyes.  "Hey!" Pink shouted into his ear and he shifted his attention from me.

"Dark lured her to him with promises of curing her, which he did, but he has this eerie power to manipulate their feelings into anger, lust, or violence.  He falsely convinced her to accept the chemical solution and she did.  Now she is 'Psyche' and with great powers." He said.

"What do you mean?"  I asked.  He put his excited gaze back on me.  He grabbed my hand resting on the arm rest.  I pulled away.

"She has more powers than just telekinesis." He gave me a sad look and put his hand back on the wheel and the other into his lap.  He looked foward and continued.  "She also has the power to clone herself and make a thick white acid-like fog that erodes anything it consumes." He stopped the car at the motel on the street we came from.  "Dark's planning on using her to take over and his sick goal is to throw the whole world into chaos and mass murder!  He has Tangerine, Flor, and Sting under his power.  I was too but I accidently drank some pickle juice at some factory and came to.  Since then I've been pretending to be under his powers.  Then when I met you, I knew it was time to stop hiding."  I swatted his hand away from my face.  "He's going to take them girls to California and start his destruction there.  From there, he'll move East until the whole nation is in panic." He shifted in his seat.  Pink had sat back a while ago and Sky glared silently at Decibel, homiscide inscribed in his expression.

"Hey Sky, you're so quiet." I looked back at him as Decibel put his hand against my chest and moved down to my abs.  I pushed it away.

"I'm fine." He said dryly, watching Decibel's every move.

"What are we going to do now?" Pink pulled himself foward agian.

"My guess is we're heading to Cali." Decibel turned off the car.

Luckily there was a moter restaurant we stopped to eat at.  Decibel paid for us, since neither of us had any money.  After we finished eating we headed off to the rooms.

"You're with me." Decibel put his arm over my shoulder.  I nodded and moved away from under it.

"About that." I moved towards Sky and put my arm on his shoulder.  "We're sharing a room." I smiled evily.  Pink forced himself under Decibel's arm.  "You two are together." He frowned and pulled his arm away.

The next morning I awoke to Sky over me, shaking me awake.  "Come on, we gotta go."  I sat up as he got down.  "You should've seen yourself last night." I looked at him with sleepiness in my eyes.  "You were glowing and I had to turn on the A.C. to keep from baking.  I noticed the coolness in the room.  I pulled on my clothes and shoes and we headed outside.  Decibel and Pink were in the Mustang conversating.  Sky locked the room door and we walked to the car.

Decibel opened the passenger side and I climbed in.  Sky jumped in next to Pink and slammed the door.  The car pulled out and we pulled onto the busy street.  Even in the morning it was packed.  We stopped to eat and we headed out of town.

"We're going to stop in El Paso first, that's the way towards Arizona."  We zipped past cars on the highway.  The windows were rolled up and the A.C. was on cool in the desert heat.  Pink and Sky noisely snacked on potato chips.

"Want some?" Pink held out the bag.  I shook my head.  Decibel nodded and tapped his fingers on the steering wheel to the music.  He was going faster than any car and the scenery blurred into the air outside.  It was like we were as fast as...the speed of sound.  One second was the New Mexican desert then a town and the desert again.  Finally we slowed down at the entrance to a city.
