i don't normally update this but here we go
December 31st. A day before new year. I was sat down at a party talking to a few friends. Spiked punch was in my system and I couldn't help but let my eyes drift off to Scorpio. He was talking to a few of his friends as well, a can of pop in his hand. A frown was settled on his face and he didn't look too pleased to be here. "So Taurus, what about that New Year's kiss?" My eyesight moved to my friend asking me with a raised eyebrow. I shrugged my shoulders, and felt my heart sink a little bit. I couldn't help but linger on the thought that maybe he could be the New Years kiss I've always wanted.
"You know that Scorpio is looking over here right?" Her hand moved to turn my head toward him. He waved cutely and flashed a warm smile. I waved back and impulsively winked at him. "Taurus it looks like you've got someone waiting for you huh? I'm going to go let you two have some fun." My face heated up as he started walking toward me. His hand was in his pocket now and the other was occupied by the pop. My eyes flashed to the tv at the other side of the room, seeing the countdown for the new year. Five minutes.
"Hey Taurus, wouldn't expect you to be here." I stood up to be level with him and I noticed our outfits were matching. He had on a navy blue hoodie and black jeans. I was sporting a navy top and a black skirt. "Well you know my friends, they take me everywhere," I smiled trying to keep from stumbling on my words or fidgeting. "So are you excited for the new year?" Concern was written on his face and I nodded, "I hope new things can come out of this year."
I could hear the clock ticking in my head, counting down.
"Do you have a new year's kiss?" Though the room was dark I could feel the heat radiating off of him. It was comforting. I shook my head no, "what about you?" He smiled at me and I checked the clock. One minute.
We all began to count down the new year. Not really yelling until we got to ten.

I stood up a bit taller and leaned into Scorpio for a kiss. We both had the same same idea as I felt his free hand go to the side of my face.
