"Niall, he said something about I was the one who was graduating and some kind of party," Louis explained while eating his strawberry ice cream. Best food when you're stressed. "And also, he said he wouldn't invite someone to a party that he doesn't even down."
But Niall didn't reply. When Louis turned to him, he saw that he was gawking. "Louis, are you stupid?" Niall said, literally face-palming. Well, what a self-confidence boost.
"Um, yeah? Probably," he replied, ravishing his ice cream once again.
Niall sighed. "He meant the graduation party. You know, for those who graduate? You do know that you can invite someone with you, right?"
Louis gawked, too, then. Oh yeah, he is stupid.
"It would be stupid if Harry was the one who invited you to that party when he wasn't even supposed to be in it, anyways. And if you're planning to not go to it, then good luck regretting for the rest of your life," Niall explained. "Anyways, I got to go now," he said before running out the door.
Louis furrowed his eyebrows. "Wait, whaaaaaat?" he said before shaking his head.
Sighing, Louis did the one thing he hated the most--cleaning. Besides, no one else was going to clean up this mess now that Niall was gone.
A few minutes after Louis was done cleaning and practicing his lines to ask Harry out to the party, he heard some people outside talking. The voices were very familiar to him, it was Harry and Liam.
Louis smiled automatically, glad to see his boyfriend home. He repeated the lines over and over again inside his head, feeling very giddy inside. Hopefully, this will change Harry's attitude towards him.
He walked in front of the door to greet Harry cheerfully when he finally entered.
"I still don't think he will invite me to the party, anyways," Louis heard Harry said from outside. It made him frown, but he quickly wiped it away.
"What do you mean by that?"
"I mean, maybe he's gonna invite someone else."
"But Haz, you're his boyfriend!"
"I guess, but..."
Liam gasped. "Are you saying that you think he is going to cheat on you?!"
Harry coughed. "I mean... You can never be too sure..." he dragged on. It made Louis' heart drop. He knew he was late, but he just thought that...
The door opened.
"Oh, Louis!" Liam said, surprised before giving out a forced smile.
Louis' face hardened. "How could you do that to me?! I was going to ask you to that party just today, but you know what? You're not worth it," he said before running away.
Halfway across the road, Louis realized his face was full of tears.
---
At the graduation party, Louis went out with this girl Ella. Yes, Louis agreed she wasn't as beautiful as Harry, but it was to make Harry jealous anyways.
Louis heard Harry was going to come to the party to apologize to him, but guess how surprised he would be, seeing Louis who already moved on. The evil plan always made Louis want to laugh, but yet, it still made him feel incomplete.
Around nine o'clock (because the party was held at night), Harry arrived at school (because it was held at school). He went inside and searched the ballroom for Louis, and finally found him, making out with a girl.
Oh, Harry would love to make up with Louis way earlier and avoid this, but Louis wouldn't hear him. He even told his friends to not tell H about his whereabouts, and his mum wouldn't let him meet his ex. Sad, really. This was the only way, but apparently, Louis had moved on.
Harry's heart broke into a thousand pieces. He quickly approached them before coughing.
"Oh, Styles. Hello, how are you? Where's your partner?" Louis asked.
Harry glared at him. "Oh, my partner is nowhere because he doesn't exist. I really want to talk to you, though. You've been ignoring me completely, literally, and now you've moved on. I thought I had a chance with you, but I'm wrong.
"Thank you though, for making me see it all over again. My partner cheating with someone. I mean, we haven't officially broken up yet. I guess we just aren't meant to be. And to know how much I've been depressed for a person like you who wouldn't hear me out.
"You might just be one of the people who crave attention, yeah? You want me to say sorry to you and all that stuff. Well, I have been, but you don't even give me a chance. And now you're here, basically kicking the ashes of my heart that you've broken away.
"Thank you, though. I'll remember you forever, as a lesson. Good bye, Louis William Tomlinson."
Harry then turned around to go, but Louis held his hand and protested, "I didn't move on! I'm only here with her because I want to make you jealous."
A shout from behind came, "What?! You used me?!" Then, the girl pulled Louis' collar and kicked where the sun didn't shine.
Harry knew Ella well. She used to be his tutor because she was smart. Unfortunately, she was a nerd who wasn't really respected. As she teached him algebra stuff, Harry teached her to not take shit from people.
And Harry was not gonna take shit from this one person.
That was Harry's thought before he left Louis' world forever.
Fin.
