Rory: (turns head) Mum? Did you hear what I just said?

Rory: Mum?
Lorelai: (head down hand on head) I thought I raised you right, I thought...
Rory: (interrupts) Mum. I'm sorry. (head down) I'm really sorry.
Lorelai: (Turns head) Who's the father? Is it that Wookie you slept with?
Rory: No.
Lorelai: Thank God.
Rory: (quietly) It's Logan's.
Lorelai: Are you sure?
Rory: I got the results back a few days ago.
Lorelai: A few days ago? You've kept this from me for a few days?! I'm your mother Rory!
Rory: I know, I'm sorry, I've been waiting for the right moment to tell you.
Lorelai: I thought Logan is engaged?
Rory: He is. I thought we were careful.
Lorelai: You're the mistress Rory! The mistress is not supposed to get pregnant!
Rory: I'm sorry mum I really am. My life has fallen apart.
Lorelai: Don't be ridiculous. You're a Gilmore!
Rory: So?
Lorelai: So Gilmores don't give up, now pull yourself together and go get your man!
Rory: Logan? And tell him what?
Lorelai: That you love him Rory.
Rory: But he's engaged.
Lorelai: He's the father of your child. Don't you want your child to grow up with it's father?
Rory: Of course I do!
Lorelai: And you love him don't you?
Rory: Yeah but...
Lorelai: If he hadn't proposed to you at 23, you would be married to him by now right?
Rory: I guess. I don't know. It's complicated.
Lorelai: Rory, this is the moment you get your life together! Go tell the father of your child he's the father and you love him and want to spend the rest of your life together!
Rory: Are you serious?! It's not that simple mum.
Lorelai: I agree Rory, it's not that simple, but you're going to have to do it for the sake of your child!
Rory: So, what? He's going to choose me over his fiancée and his family's wealth?
Lorelai: Of course he is! He clearly loves you Rory, why else did he sleep with you whilst he was engaged?
Rory: You're right! I love him and he loves me and he's the father of my child so we have to be together!
Lorelai: Damn right!
Rory: But his wedding is tomorrow!
Lorelai: (stands up) Then hurry! We've got to get you on the next flight out to London! (Both start running)
