Slowly. Calmly. Silence. 💣💣💣(Bang,bang,bang) thump. Silence.
Beep, beep, beep. Beep, beep, beep.
With a groan, I become conscious. Calmly opening my eyes I look around the room to find it grey, an ugly grey that looks to have blood stains. Silent. Scary, silence. Deadly, silence. Not. A. Sound. As my eyes go further across the room, I see a silhouette of a person. Worried, I try to stand, but am pulled back down as quickly as a gun shot. Too familiar. A gun shot. I become aware that I'm cuffed to the wall. Silence. Then it's gone
"Jeff?" I whispered softly not disturbing the silence too much. I start to tug on the chains trying to use magic, but it doesn't work. I start to yell "let me go!" I yelled loudly over and over again, awakening Jeff. Instead of stopping me, he crawls over to me not cuffed
"Silence!" The scary voice of someone says making Jeff freeze. He looked petrified
"No. You bastard!" I yell for Jeff to look alarmed. I hear shifting
"Ohh. Got a good one Jeff what will I do with her. Maybe she should get a taste of her own medicine?" He said for Jeff to ignore him "listen!" He bombed as if we couldn't hear his annoying voice. Jeff crawls over to me, so he is right beside me
"Do you have a bobby pin?" He whispered for me to nod. He strokes my hair getting hold of the bobby pin missing the bow. Then he hugs me
"Oh what will I ever do with the poor poor love birds!" The voice said laughing really hard
"Is that Cory?" I mumbled for him to freeze before he nods. I hear the click of the hand cuffs "now act as if you didn't do that and move away. If my plan does work we will be out of hear in no time. Trust me. We must trust each other!" I whispered. Slowly, he moves away going back to his spot. Shadow. Silence. Jeff. Amelia. Cory
"Well well well. I think I should get to know this girl better. What's your name?" He asked for me to ignore him "listen or I'll come in there and not hesitate to kill you!" He said for me to ignore him looking to Jeff. He gives me a soft smile. I hear three door click open and closed, before Cory the man who killed my aunt stood in front of me with two guards behind him "you pathetic girl. I know you. I know you better than you know yourself. Why don't we tell Jeff what you did as a baby? Kill one of my men!" He said with an evil smile looking to see Jeff's reaction. Happily, Jeff already knew this about me so he held a blank expression as did I. He glares at me
"What do you want from me?" I asked angrily even though I could kill him with a snap of my fingers. He glares at me, before a smile grows on his lips
"I warned your mom not to let her or her family come after me. Maybe you should know of your aunt. What a kind lady she was. Sofia was it. Stabbed her. Your mom was such a baby I even wanted to kill her, but that would be no fun as seeing her this sad brought me pleasure. So I left her on a remote beach. Surprised she even survived. She was so, so smart. I'll give her that, but her child clearly isn't!" He said with an evil smile. Oh how dumb he was to insult my mom, aunt and me"sense I have you with your magic I'll just drain it from you and kill e---" he said for me to quickly throw my hands out in front of my twisting my right hand to the side hearing his neck snap. His limp body falls to the ground as the guards look at me surprised. Surprised there boss could be killed so easily. To make sure he would stay dead I use magic to pull his heart into the ground to create a tree. A beautiful tree trapping his soul inside it. When I was done with that I look at my hands surprised I had the power to do all that. The guards looked petrified
"Well it was fun boys, but I truly must be on my way!" I said honestly. I stood up for Jeff to stand beside me looking away from the body and me. I grab his hand grabbing my bow before turning it on throwing it before using magic to teleport out of the place and into our black car. I count down from five to hear the big explosion, feeling the wave of shock of the earth. My head starts to spin and I hold it "Jeff we need to get out of here!" I said honestly. He looks at me questionable before he nods for me to quickly switch where we sit with magic
"Amelia, you need to hold off on the magic. It is dangerous to use this much!" He says as black spots start to blur my vision
"Get us to somewhere remote. Do not inform my parents!" I say swiftly, before blacking out!

Slowly, I wake up to feel the softness of a bed behind my back making me freak out as I told Jeff to go somewhere remote. I quickly sit up for my head to pound hard snapping me out of my thoughts. I fall back onto the bed turning my head to the right to see a ton of tree's. Confused, I finally take in my surrounding to realizing I'm most probably in a tree house. Slowly and carefully, I get up the memories of the last time I was awake washed over me. Hiding, smoke bomb, needle, silence. Wake up, evil voice, magic chains, Jeff, killing, leaving, bow bomb, car, fainting, silence. It washes over me like water for me to stumble into a standing position, but quickly fall to the ground with a thud my legs numb. I hear footsteps getting closer to my room for Jeff to walk in looking worried. When he sees me, he bursts out laugh
"Stop laughing this isn't funny!" I said for him to still laugh though he tries to conceal it with a hand over her mouth, but it didn't work. I glare at him as he laughs. Finally, after a bit he stops laughing and helps me onto the bed
"Amelia you've been out for 3 days. Take it easy on your legs!" He said for me to groan
"No. I can't. Did the spy's come to the abandoned house? What happened after I blacked out?" I asked for him to chuckle
"Amelia calm down. I'll explain everything, but first you must eat. You haven't eaten for three days, or drank any water!" He said before leaving. I sigh and stay, with my back hunched, on the bed as I wait for him to return. When he does, he has a bowl of fruits, a tuna sandwich which is my favorite, some orange juice and some cake. My eyes light up and I quickly grab the food going for the sandwich first for him to chuckle "would you like me to tell you what happened while you eat?" He asked for me to nod. He nods and sits directing in front of me "so when you blacked out, the spy's came and they went locking for us. Surprisingly, they didn't notice the big car I was in and it took me a while before I realized that you made it invisible!" He said for me to smile innocently with a mouth full "so I watched as they grabbed about 100 men who we're killed by the bomb, including Caleb. Once they where all wrapped up your parents and other spy's stayed there searching for you, but after maybe 7 hours they called it quit saying they'll come back the next day because it was night. Once I was sure they where gone I drove 20 hours back to my home town and now here we are in my treehouse that I made before I left!" He said for me to nod finishing my food right when he finished. I place the tray to the side so there's nothing between Jeff and I
"Thank you!" I said honestly for him to smile and nod
"I just have one question!" He said for me to nod "why don't you want to go back to your family and the academy?" He asked for me to freeze up
"I do just not now. I literally killed more than 100 people. I need a break from all this. I can not handle the guilt right now. It's eating me up alive and having a secret aunt again is just something I need to adjust to!" I said honestly looking down and fiddling with my fingers "but I understand if you want to go back. Completely!" I added not looking up at him as being the selfish person I am I want him to stay and not go. Jeff scoots closer to me before placing a finger under my chin raising my head so I look at him
"I'm not leaving you!" He said softly, before pulling me into a kiss one that feels magical. I smile into it kissing him back. Slowly, we pull away for me to smile at him our foreheads still touching "I'm just going to say this now. Would you like to be my girlfriend?" He asked for me to smile and nod. He smiles back leaning in for another kiss. This one lasted a bit longer, before we pulled away, but I don't mind. When we do he smiles at me "so sense we are not going back to the place would you like to go on a tour of the forest?" He asked for me to nod "okay then get dressed... Wait do you have other clothes?" He asked for me to nod. He smiles and nods "okay then get dressed and meet me downstairs when your done!" He said giving me a small kiss before leaving. I touch my lips feeling it tingle, conflicted on if that was real or not. Shaking my head, I slowly practice standing up for a good five minutes before getting the hang of it using my magic to help me. I then make some of my clothes appear and place it on. I decided I would wear a sundress and some converse that I put them on before using the washroom. Once finished, I place my money in a purse,before walking downstairs finding Jeff after about another 5 minutes. Once I found him we both leave the house and I get the tour of the forest which I would, not purposely, but would live in for 2 months!
