Chapter 3: Red

Slowly, I woke up to find the car empty. Sitting up, I look around to see I'm in front of a beach that's empty. Starting to panic I look around the car to see my phone. Quickly grabbing it I see Jeff sent me a text

Jeff😍: Sense you fell asleep and I did not feel the need to wake you I'm going to go sit on a tall cliff and watch the sunrise so if you wake up and I'm not in the car, calm down I'm most likely alright. Unless the sun has rose very high in the sky and I'm still not there. In that case, go look for the tallest rock you can find and on there should be something that will signal that I'm in danger most probably red!

I look up from the text to see the sun quite high up in the sky for my eyes to quickly go back to my phone to check the time 12:39PM. Worried, I quickly jump out of the car and look around for the highest rock. Running over to one I think is pretty high I get onto it to see something bright red in the distance. Panicked, I run over to it to see it's a red shirt held down by a stick. My eyes grow widely and I quickly run back to the car grabbing my laptop. With some skills, I picked up from being the observant person I am, I hack into the systems and track Jeff's phone somehow to see him across the city. Quickly, I get into the driver seat driving to the academy only about hour. Once I arrive, I see he's very far into the city. Pushing on the breaks faster, I quickly go throw the gate driving up to stop in front of the staircase leading to the main building. I quickly get out panicked for my mom to run out

"Amelia you alright?" She asked worried for me to shake my head

"No I'm not Jeff has been kidnapped!" I said worried as people gasp finally taking it in that there are a ton of people around me. My mom looks surprised before putting on a stern face

"Okay I'll send someone to find out where he is!" She said for me to look at her seriously

"There's no time for jokes I've already tracked his phone which was for some reason not smashed, but the SIM card was still taking out. Anyways, that's not the point, the point is I know where he is I just need some spy gadgets!" I said to her in a rush. She looks at me with scrunch eyebrows

"It's too dangerous you don't know who or what your going up against?" She said for me to look at her angrily walking up the staircase using my magic to track all spy gadgets

"I'm not a baby! I'm 16 years old and excel in all my classes!" I said angrily before walking in for her to follow

"I know you aren't, but it doesn't matter how good you are walking into a mission blind eyed is very dangerous!" She said as I push open the door of the spy stash for her to look at me surprised "how did you?....." She said for me to grab a suit spinning around and changing into it with magic. I then grab two guns placing it into my belt, some knives into my combat boots and an bow bomb in my hair

"Magic, mom. Annabelle gave me her magic powers, her strength and her intelligence. If you trusted Annabelle to go around by herself and fight in the war. Plus, give birth to me, I'm no different. Please trust me!" I said closing the drawers and turning to her. She sighs and nods

"Fine, but if your father gets mad at me this will be your fault!" She said for me to chuckle and nod. I hug her tightly "here this is a watch, which will get our helicopter to fly to you when needed. You probably will, good luck!" She said for me to smile and then smack the watch onto my wrist. As I start to leave she follows "also as a first mission treat you will get the family car!" She said for me to look at her surprised "it's an immortal car which can drive it's self and highly intelligent!" She said pulling me to a closed off part of the building. The door leads to a shinny black car as my mom hands me the keys. I squeal and hug her
