I woke up on the couch covered in popcorn. I rub my eyes and sit up. I see Luke on the other side of the couch, sleeping with a smile on his face . He was curled up in a ball and holding the t.v romote. I smiled and walked past him and into his kitchen. I open all the cupboards and search for food. So i go to the fridge and find the eggs and bacon. I start to make eggs and bacon. I throw my hair up in a messy bun. I find Luke's phone and play some music from it. I dance like no ones watching while cooking. I was having a lot of fun! Then suddenly , Luke comes running in the kitchen and slips . " Ouchie," Luke said holding his leg while laying on the floor, " I smell food." I giggle and help him up. I put two eggs and two strips of bacon on his plate and the same ammount of food on my plate. I sit down at the kitchen table and begin eating. Luke sits beside me. He picks up the bacon strip and slaps it across my cheek giggling.
" Really? " I said sighing. I was holding back my smile as he nodded and did it once again. I burst out laughing.
"Can you not?" Luke said smirking crossing his arms, standing up.
"Can i not do what?" i asked calming a bit.
"Be so cute? It's killing me! Honestly.." Luke said shaking his head, smiling. I stood in front of him with a serious face. " No" i said strictly. " Im not ' cute' or 'pretty' ok?" I said frowning and walking out of the kitchen. I walk upstairs to Lukes room, partially closing the door. I go to his closet and find some of his clothes to wear . I put on a navy blue t-shirt and some gray boxers. I sit on the edge of his bed look towards the floor frowing. I look the the door and see Luke peeking at me, then walking towards me slowly. He sits beside me looking at me .
" You alright? I'm sorry..." Luke said still looking at me . I half smile and look at him back.
" Im fine. I just feel like you were lying. I don't beleive all that ' cute ' stuff. I'm just...not" I said laying my head on his shoulder. He kissed the top of my head, then whispered " Why would I lie to you, Amber. I wouldn't do that. I know that I've only known you for about 2 days , but I feel really close to you already. " I look at him. " I feel close to you aswell. I know you wouldn't lie to me but ...I....I don't know." I said , voice cracking. Luke hugged me tightly . I burried my head in his chest. He took his fingers and rubbed in small circles on the top of my hand. It felt nice to have someone caring for me.
" Do you want to go back to your house? I'll stay there with you if you want. Seems like you might want some company. " Luke said . I nod and we both stood up walking downstairs. I grab my phone and he grabs his. I put on my shoes and me and Luke walk across the street, back to my house. My mom and dad are gone for the next two weeks, they're on a cruise.
I open the door to my house and walk inside. I drop my bag and take off my shoes. I sit on the couch cross-legged and turn on the tv. Luke takes off his shoes and sits beside me. I turn my head and give him a half smile. "Your house is nice " Luke said looking around.
"Thanks. You hungry? " I asked . He shrugged then nodded. I pick up my phone and call the pizza place. I ordered 1 large pizza. I put down the phone .
"1 Large cheese pizza is heading in our direction" I said smiling at Luke. He smiled brightly back at me.
" Yay! You know what would go great with a pizza? A movie. " Luke exclaimed. I nod and snuggle closer to him. He put his arm over my shoulder and flips through the movie channels. " Aye, Mama is on! Wanna watch that scary movie?" Luke said. I shook my head . " Well too bad " he said " I'll protect you, love."
I sigh and just go along with it.
After the two hour long movie was over, I was laying my head on Lukes lap. He looks down at me and smiles.
" What a movie. Very..... strange. " Luke said chuckling. I shrug and nod. I check my phone for the time. 11:00 . Wow i was already tired at an early time. "Are you tired, Lukey? " I ask, yawning. He shook his head.
"Want me to sing?" He asked.
" Yes, please ," I said smiling then closing my eyes. He quietly began to sing ' A Drop In The Ocean' . I slowly began drifting off to sleep. At the end of the song, I was sleeping.
