Constellations so far away,
The clock strikes twelve but here we stay.
Fingers intertwined, breaths short and quick,
The sky is ever glossy and never looks sick.
Dazzling stars from high above,
Not even the milky way could express my love.
You see something in me that I didn't see in myself,
While your sparkling eyes don't strike as much help.
The night air is nipping at our noses,
Your cheeks are red as you hand me roses.
You seem nervous as you play with your fingers,
Not a word was uttered as the winter air lingered.
You soon got up and stood on one knee,
My heart started fluttering full of glee,
As you said "Will you marry me?"
This was the happiest moment of my life.
All because the magnificent starry night.
