Peaceful Waters

I write to remind you who you are and what you mean to me.

It is difficult to find words that express my feelings toward you.

To begin, every universe can not hold all my love

I grant you passage to the deepest darkest part of my soul and heart.

When I set eyes upon you, it is like being immersed into peaceful waters.

This, I have never felt with anyone but you.

In times of darkness others might walk away, not you.

Instead my love, you stay and hold me with your everlasting strength.

Storms may rock us, earthquakes might test us.

However, the love I have for you will never fail.

Is it selfishness that bids me to bring you back when things become estranged?

No, I see you as a kiss from eternal love that I will not give up.

These are a few characteristics I see in you, the others you have bared open for me to witness.

I cherish and love them as my own. Your demons are my demons, never forget that.

I take joy in sharing my life with yours.

I see us growing old together laughing at death, knowing I will be with you on the other side.

For it is an adventure I graciously take.

Come hold my hand and I shall be by your side, bonded to you for eternity.
