Loverboy Blue

  I don't know where to begin, only that my heart is broken in too many pieces

You are my best friend since the day I saw you

To think, my sweet boy, you are and forever will be a part of my family

Please visit me in my dreams for it is a gateway to the other side

A  safe place we can commune like we used to

I want you to know I love you like a brother and a son, as well as a loyal friend

My heart holds a place for you and the wonderful heroic memories I now have of you

Also, know that my actions in caring for you these last years

I did to the best of my abilities, out of love

I will still defend your honor in death

You knew your time was coming to an end

I couldn't bear the thought of losing you yet

We have gone through good and bad days these four or five years

Ok since day one, let's face it

Thank you for watching over me while I lived alone

You are my light and rock through that particular time in my life

I hope you are happy and pain-free wherever you are now

No animal can replace you, Blue Lightning

I will see you in your next life! I will always love and miss you

Author's Note: I am sorry for the strange update I recently lost a dog. I had him for fifteen years. I couldn't add a picture of him, but this is as close as I can find.
