Prologue to back to the start
"Poppy seeds for pain, cobwebs for bleeding... oh fox dung!" spat a brownish red cat. He was staring at a pile of leaves and berries, trying to remember their uses.
"Poppy seeds also help with sleep," he recalled, yawning. "I swear only medicine cats dream about herbs."
Just then, the harsh scent of smoke filled his nose. He looked around the medicine den and padded out, curious about what the smell could mean.
When he poked his head out, he was shocked. The clan was on fire!
"What is happening?" He wailed. A crash of thunder, and a starry cat appeared, looking down at him.
"Is this a sign from StarClan?" He asked, staring at the silent ancestor.
The tom nodded, sorrow and grief in his eyes. "A cat will bring the destruction of the 4 Clans, as well as a new beggining."
"What do you mean?" The rusty furred cat mewed. Before the StarClan cat could say anything, a loud crack was heard. A burning tree branch snapped, falling towards him.
Twineheart woke up with a jolt, fur bristling. "It was only a dream." He told himself.
The prophecy echoed in his head. He got up and padded towards his leaders den.
"Gingerstar? Are you awake?" Twineheart hissed into the entrance, waking the ThunderClan leader.
"I am now" Gingerstar yawned. "What is it?" She asked, seeing the horror in his eyes.
Twineheart quickly told her about his dream, and Gingerstar stared at him with wide green eyes.
"What do you think it means Gingerstar?"
"I don't know, Twineheart but I don't like it."
