Alfred was born to be a figure skater. He just knew it. He was a natural on the ice, so was his older twin Matthew. Alfred was more graceful than him though, he held better pose and skated smoothly across the ice while Matthew was rough, he didn't play games on the ice, you don't want to play hockey with him. But Alfred loved it, the feeling of gliding across the ice, moving with skill and grace as he danced. He began to learn how to figure skate at ten years old. He was good at it to as he was able to learn a move within the week it was introduced to him. But people always thought of it to be a girls sport, he was constantly made fun of. It didn't help that he had two dads, he was always called things such as 'fagot' and 'pixie'. He convinced himself that he didn't care but it hurt every time it happened. Don't get him wrong, he loved his dad's with all of his heart but he didn't like the teasing and constant bullying. He dealt with it till highschool. He was still skating, entering as many competitions as he could. Matthew was captain of the hockey team, he never got bullied, people were scared to. But Alfred, to him it was hell. It was a Monday morning that he walked into the ice skating rink at five in the morning to practice before school. He had thirty minutes before Matt and his friends showed up. He'd been practicing a move that he failed every time. He had rubbed his feet raw from practicing but he didn't care. He'd perfect it. He quickly got to work, the move would end with a jump. He landed wrong every time. Soon at the end of his Time he was sitting on the ice after falling. He sighed miserably before he was suddenly pulled up. "Alfred?" He heard his big brothers voice. "Yes Matt..." "Are you ok?" Alfred sighed. "Yeah... Yeah I'm fine. I-I gotta go change." He broke out of his hold. Matthew nodded. "Don't worry Al. You'll get it." Alfred smirked. "Thanks Mattie." He skated towards the rink exit and to the locker rooms.
