I thought it was all a lie.....

I heard stories about how the small town of Santa Carla is supposedly haunted by creatures and how it's known as the "Murder capitol of the World". My grandpa used to tell me stories about them before i went to sleep..i know right? Telling scary stories when you're about to sleep is a bad idea mostly if kids hear about it but i was different.

I love to listen to scary stories and explore haunted placed unlike other kids who would just run away.I had no friends in school cause everyone called me "the weird girl" that nickname was then used around people in the city where i lived.

I never listened to them anyway..being weird is awesome..it's awesome cause you don't follow in others footsteps, the same footsteps everyone use to make themselves popular. I used to live with my mother but before i even finished high-school she ran away with her boyfriend leaving me alone..

I moved in next with my father who sadly passed away a few months later leaving me heartbroken.

Unfortunately I was just eighteen when he passed away so i had to move in with my aunt who lives in Santa Carla where i am heading right now. My uncle from my father's side was nice enough to drive me all the way down here,I furrowed my eyebrows when i saw bright lights up ahead. Is there a festival going on or something? I looked back behind me and written by the entrance read "Murder Capitol Of The World" written in spray paint.

I sat back down properly and started to question things...what if it's all true?

"Were almost there,Kim! You'll love the place." My uncle said as he started driving past the crowd of people.

I sighed running my finger through my messy black hair and bangs, most of the time i tie my hair down in a braid or let it loose my hair isn't that long it's a bit below my shoulder,i even dyed just a strand of my hair white since my Dad didn't liked me trying out different colors. We had a lot in common.

I started looking out at the crowd, kids happily running around, adults talking with each other eyeing their kids and wait...I looked over to my right and saw a guy dressed entirely in black and bleach blonde hair staring at me before we passed him.

I blush and stare down at my lap before i felt the car stop and we arrived to an really old looking house.I look at it unsure but step put of the car anyway with my backpack clinging on me and my uncle holding my luggage. A woman comes out of the house smiling looking at us both.

"Long time no see Lucy." My uncle says smiling.

So this is my aunt Lucy? I don't think i have ever met her or maybe i don't remember.

"Kim? Kimberly is that you?!" She says brightly and embraces me in a hug.

"Y-yes it's me aunt Lucy."

"You might not remember me but i used to babysit you when you were young.please come in!" She says to us,

"Oh i'd like to stay Lucy but i gotta head back." My uncle says to us both.

I gave my uncle a hug and he wished me luck for some reason,i ignored it and saw him leave.

"Make yourself at home Kim! sorry for the mess these boys have made a mess."

Just when my aunt Lucy said that a young boy hid behind her clinging onto her dress,Lucy chuckled and ran her hand on the boys curls. "Kim..this is your cousin,Michael."

I smile and knelt down to the boys level he must be like 10. "Hi,Michael! Like you heard i am your cousin..if you'd like i can play with you whenever you'd like." I said and quickly started to search inside my backpack, "Here i got you something." I say and hold onto a necklace which has a few charms on them.
