" Our father was born into the italian mafia.
The italian mafia had a enemy, the colsons basically they are like a mafia but not quite a mafia. Anyway, our father was the second in command and Leo's family was third in command and Antonio's family are the leaders. There was a war not a actual war but war for power,money and turf between the mafia and the Colsons, our father met our mother and they fell in love." I started, and took a minute to let that settle in, knowing they had questions,
"But how is that even connected to mom and dad leaving?" Kayla asks,
" Mom was the daughter of the leaders of the Colsons. She never agreed with her parents ways, they murdered innocent people and did horrible things to get power. Th italian mafia accepted her, she became close friends with everyone, but when the Colsons found out they weren't happy. The war grew to its greatest, mom and dad were threaten and somehow the Colsons always found a way to get to mom even with guards. They got married, and shortly after they found out she was pregnant with me, and that made all the matters worse. The stress and everything else wouldn't be good for her or me. So they had to leave the mafia and they had to leave Europe, so they left and wen to the U.S. They cut all ties with everyone here, and they never saw each other again. The war then settled down, but it is still going on but isn't as bad as it was then. The Colsons never knew that mom and dad had children.
And theirs deaths weren't accidents. They knew that the Colsons found them, and they knew if they fled and the Colsons found out about us that we would have been extreme danger, so they spent as much time with us as they could and prepared things for us to move on and live a comfortable life." I finished with tears in my eyes and I blinked them backed.
" why didn't they tell us?" Lea asks with tears streaming down her face, looking at her I shake my head,
" I don't know, but they probably didn't for a certain reason" I finished, looking at my hands.
" You guys are going to stay here, we will protect you and we will take down the Colsons once and for all" Roman says, anger flashing in his eyes.
