Cody-
He hummed happily as his eyes were casted down at the white and blue lined paper, his hand seeming to have a mind of its own as the yellow wood #2 Pencil glided across the thin sheet of paper. Ideas and random lines popping up into Codys head which he had been automatically writing them down on the paper. Occasionally he would take a small break if an idea was blocked or not coming through, he would just look up and let his bright blue eyes dance along the dark red walls of his office room. The color was definitely striking as an intimidating one, but Cody didn't mind. He found it soothing and he could stare at it for hours- Hell he wouldn't waist a minute not staring at any color. Because that was the thing... Cody could see color.

It was just a regular ordinary day for Cody, he had been wandering the town for what seemed like forever and he decided to try something new. A local coffee shop that has been in town for the past year, Cody had always been avoiding the chance to go try it since it replaced his favorite coffee shop that was there before it. How you say? Bias. Cody was definitely bias towards it.

Though deciding to ignore his minds thoughts for just a few moments he found himself walking into the doors of the little Cafe, hearing the small ring that sounded throughout the shop. It wasn't busy nor was it empty, it was just how Cody liked it. Seeing upon this a small smile was brought to his lips and he went to go stand in line to order just a regular coffee. He hummed lightly to himself as he gradually made his way up the line and soon got to the barista, ordering his drink and paying the right amount before finding himself a table to wait for his drink. He was definitely eager to try this new taste though he didn't want to admit it just yet. He let out a small breath he didn't know he was holding in as he glanced around the cafe, wishing to see how the color scheme was for the theme but of course- everything was black and white. Those two colors that Hes seen all his life, they've gotten quite boring to him finding it hard to easily bring joy to the gloom life he thought it was with those colors. But of course Cody always found some way to bring joy to himself.

Shaking his head lightly, shaking the thought away from his mind and continued to glance around the shop. "Cody?" A name called out making Codys head snap up and got up to go get his coffee he had ordered, a small smile upon his lips as he kept his gaze upon the floor and started to walk to the counter where he would receive his beverage. Once he'd gotten there he grabbed the mug and looked up at whoever had put it on the counter to say thank you. Without thinking anything of it he thanked the boy with the nose ring, then starting to walk away with his mug in his hand.

Cody glanced down at the thing that warmed his hand up, though he had to stop in his tracks he almost dropped it. The first thing he saw was a shade of light brown, then a shade that took over the whole mug which was blue. Codys breathing hitched as he quickly glanced back over to where the counter was where the boy had given him the drink. He noticed splotches of colors appearing seemingly out of nowhere and he already knew the other boy was seeing it too once Cody heard something shatter.

He quickly made his way back to the counter as he glanced around once more, his eyes wide with confusion and in all honesty happiness.

"Y-your eyes are beautiful" he suddenly heard a small voice whisper, Cody looked forward to see the boy who had given him his drink. Not saying anything yet he looked over this boy who had bleach/ blonde hair, Eyes a beautiful Green and brown- hazelnut if you will, had on a black shirt with a blue apron over.

Codys eyes traveled back to the boy's, his breathing hitching once more- this boy was beautiful. Finally being able to speak up Cody opened his mouth, "I-you- You made me see color" he said, sounding astonished and the boy smiled widely. "You made me see color too" he whispered.

At this moment Cody wanted to jump over the counter and hug this boy to death and kiss him all over the face. He could see what he longed for the most and he found the person who helped him see it. And turns out his name was Maxx Danziger.

The day Cody was able to see color was 1 year ago, almost two. And the two boys were in love like they would never see eachother again after the day would end. Of course Cody wrote songs for maxx and sang to him almost everyday and just loved the boy to death. Maxx would show his love also, whether it was little things or doing whatever he could to show Cody how much he loved him.

Maxx was out at the grocery store while Cody was sat at the table in that dark red office colored wall room writing random things down once more he found himself writing about what colors cody felt about maxx, definitely happy colors which Cody smiled more at.

Letting out a breath as he continued to write, his vision blurred for a moment so he blinked. But when he opened his eyes again he saw black and white. His eyebrows immediately furrowed and he blinked again, though the colors that were there before returning. "My mind must be playing with me" he mumbled as he continued to write, the expression staying on his face though.

After a couple moments Cody set his pencil down and leaned back in his chair and stretched, his eyes closing in the process. Once his glorious stretch was done he opened his eyes again, though Cody saw black and white again.

Blinking his eyes a couple more times- the color wouldn't go away, the color wouldn't go away, the color won't go away! Cody abruptly stood up and his breathing faltered as he looked around "No No No No- what is happening?" He asked himself as he went around the room the panicking. Was Maxx experiencing the same thing? What happened with them? Did they just fall out of love all of a sudden? "No- no that's silly that wouldn't happen. It's a glitch in the matrix- yeah it's just that" Cody tried to convince himself but it wasn't working.

The next thing that came next was a phone call, and after that phone call Cody didn't know what else happened. He went around the house screaming with anger and sadness. Screaming at himself asking how he could let this happen, how something so evil could steal away somebody so innocent. All while Cody trashed his entire house he only saw black and white.

When Cody got dressed he only saw black and white.
When he got into that car and drove he only saw black and white.
When he arrived to his destination he only saw black and white- so many people they were just black and white- they were just dull.

When standing in front of something so important to him, Cody only saw black and white.

Cody only saw black and white while the casket was being moved into the ground.

And that's when Cody knew that's all he'll ever see again, he won't see maxx's hair color, his eye color, the color of clothes he was wearing that day, the colors that maxx loved, he won't be able to see maxx anymore.

But there was one thing that Cody was able to see from now on, Black and white.
And he despised it.
