"Cosima... I can't do this any longer." Delphine said, clinging to her lover for dear life. Just a few hours ago the two had been at home, curled up on the couch watching House Hunters, but now, they were dangling above a pit of radioactive goop. Cosima looked Delphine in the eyes, "Yes you can Delphine. Just hold on to me." Cosima said barely hanging on to the already breaking rope. She could feel the French woman's tears running down on to her shirt, "At least if we die, we die in each other's arms." Delphine said between her sobs. Cosima kissed her wife, careful not to let her guard down too much. "We aren't gonna die, we can't. For Eddie's sake." Cosima said as the rope broke and they fell into the seemingly endless pit.
