me and lauren were hanging out since we have always been together since we were in seventh grade.

i moved out to LA with jack about a year ago and lauren came along since her parents weren't really there for her.

jack said he would take her in. he's known her for a while also and they are practically related.

i was interrupted from my thoughts from a phone going off.

i checked my phone but it wasn't it..

i looked over to lauren and see that it was her phone.

lauren has a boyfriend named charles.

i'm not a big fan of charles but that's irrelevant at the moment.

lauren types for a moment before speaking up.

"that was charles, he said that he wanted to hang out"

"i'm good" i said in a monotone voice.

lauren huffed "ok fine go hang out with mikey or something"

she got up and went downstairs.

i heard the door being shut and a car being drove away slightly.

i roll over on my stomach and got my phone to text mikey.

kaitlyn: want to hang out?

mikey: ok, omw

i throw my phone to the side and just lay there waiting for mikey.

me and mikey are downstairs in the kitchen eating some popcorn.

i look over and see mikey texting and smiling.

i try not to be nosy but before i can think any further i look over slightly to see what he's doing.

he looks up at me and turns his phone to the side so i don't see what's on there.

i laugh slightly since it's pretty obvious that he's doing something.

"what you looking at?" i ask.

"nothing" he huffs.

"hmm okay, then why'd you turn your phone?" i push.

"oh my gosh kaitlyn, stop!" he says while raising his voice.

"dude chill" i say shifting a little since this is really awkward.

"i'm not going to chill since your really annoying me. stop being so nosy my god" me says going back to his phone.

"i just wanted to know what you were doing" i say slightly whispering.

"you know what i'm just going to leave" he says simply. grabbing his keys and walking out the door.

i watch him drive away from the kitchen window.

what did i do?.

was it wrong to ask what he was doing?

i go back up to my room and lay down and fall asleep.
